You need to make your mind up how much your willing to pay.
So the 5 stars are based on the other similar Makita batteries i have. The new ones work and that's all I can say at the time. I have tried using various replacement batteries but to be honest some die on you and the charge doesn't last as long. I mean they are cheaper and are fine for short job uses.I have had some Makita batteries for12 years and they are still working fine. Guess you get what you pay for.

Excellent!
I have used these, as a pair, for 5 years with a Makita strimmer. They are completely reliable and I bought 2 more to extend the range. Excellent!

Obviously not a 2-pack
Only got 1 battery but the product description clearly states 2-pack. No way of getting in contact with the seller and Amazon only offers return. I want my second battery… The one battery I got is working though
