Great Stands For the Weekend Warrior
These stands are great and will serve my needs very nicely. I've played professionally off and on for nearly 50 years, and these days I'm playing in a cover band that gigs locally once or twice a month. At this stage of my life, I want to use decent quality gear but don't want to move thousands of pounds of stuff to every show. The On-Stage Aluminum Speaker Stands fit the bill perfectly. They are replacing a set of heavier steel stands that handled about a decade of regular use, but they're getting worn out and I'm getting tired of repairing them every few gigs. These aluminum stands are lighter and more compact, but they still go as high as I need them. So far, the new stands have been durable, and much easier to load and move than my old stands. The included nylon carry bag is also a nice touch. It should hold up for years, since I take care of my stuff. I've had good success with On-Stage products over the years. They're not necessarily built for touring arenas, but they serve me well playing pubs, clubs, and occasional outdoor shows.

Lightweight is the keyword
I was looking for an alternative to lugging around the heavy steel speaker and light stands and this is it. They are half the weight of the steel stands and just as stable. One limitation is their max height is 72, inches, which is fine for speakers and moving heads, but not tall enough for a wash light bar or something you need to get over the crowd.

Trusted Stands
I was using a cheap pair of speaker stands for a few years, and decided it was time for an upgrade. I knew OnStage was the way to go, and I am not disappointed. There are, of course, a couple different variants of stands that OnStage has, but I ended up going with these for a few reasons. The single-strap carrying case is great (though mine arrived with a 2-inch slash through it which seemed to have happened during transit, still holds up though). Other variants came with different pole sizes, but this standard pole size has been tested with standard Mackie and JBL speakers alike, and works just fine. The stands do come with two small plastic attachments to help you if you have speakers with smaller stand holes. They are sleek and durable. I know of older OnStage stands where all the plastic knobs cracked after a few years, but these knobs seem more durable than older ones. I've barely had these for a year so maybe too soon to tell, but they're holding up fine. I only use them about once a month, but they've already been though some beating-up, and still show no issues. I should emphasize that I use these stands only about once a month. I have used other OnStage stands that are much older and have been beaten and bruised a ton, but are still really sturdy. As time wears on, if issues do arise, I will update this review.

Sturdy and well built.
Sturdy and well built. They provide a stable platform for my Yamaha MSR400 Monitors that are 50-60 lbs. each. Case has divided pockets for each stand. If you want 5-stars, you will spend a lot more money which I didn't have at the time.

Good stands for 12s and below
Solid stands for the price. No complaints on quality You get what you pay for & thats on me. I do wish the listing included preferred speaker size and leg width. That would help a lot. They can hold 15s, but they’re definitely be more solid for 12s and below. I run EV 15s and just want a little more stability for my setup. Returning n upgrading to the $179 version.

Great Stands
Speaker stands are just what our church needed! They are sturdy but not bulky. Great product and would definitely recommend for meeting your speaker stand requirements.

SAFETY HAZARD! DO NOT BUY!!!!
I had bought these a year or two ago for raising a pair of speakers that I had that were 45-50 pounds each. When they arrived, the leg hinge assembly was broken at the clamp. I thought, "Ok, it was probably just a faulty part that got broken in shipping..." (that was my first hint). I then proceeded to buy a replacement part from On-Stage for a few bucks, installed it, and it was as good as new. They worked ok and served their purpose for about 10 shows. Then I lent my system to a friend who was doing a school assembly. He was setting up the system and whilst raising one of the speakers to height, the upper pole (the one with the holes for the safety pin) buckled and snapped in half, scraping the side of his neck in the process. Luckily it didn't break skin and there was another set of stands on site, thus the show went on. Long story short, these stands are a liability to safety and should be avoided at all costs for raising anything above 10 pounds.

On Stage Speaker Stands
Great Stands, very sturdy. Nice case that holds both with a separator to avoid scuffing during travel.

Great speaker stands for the price
Great speaker stands for the price! They're just a bit shaky under my heavy (80+ lbs.) Yamaha speakers, but I'm not moving them around at all, so they're fine. They're doing the job I got them to do, so I'm happy.
