ABN 1/2in Drive 6 Point Spindle Thin Wall Axle Nut Socket 9-Piece Metric Set – 6pt Install, Removal, Repair

I have no real complaints about the quality/use ability of this socket set. I dug out the 30mm and slapped it on my impact driver and it wouldn’t fit inside the clutch baskets 50mm nut. My SK 30mm thin walled socket was no longer in my tool chest. I compared this socket to a snap on and harbor freight impact sockets and there was no difference in exterior diameter.I think if a tool is advertised as a “thin walled” socket, the actual label on the product better say thin walled socket and this products label doesn’t say it. I asked a few coworkers and they thought it was a nice set of impact sockets. Everyone agreed - not thin walled and my experience proved it.I will keep them as an impact set but none of them can be considered thin walled..I included some pics - the case closure is basically a rubber band and a couple of 1/2 X 1/8 rivets will keep them with the case. No labeling inside case to identify missing sockets and my last nitpick is the sockets size could be 5X larger and on two sides of the socket plz.

We use this product in our appliance repair business on a daily basis. Product is high quality, reasonably priced and we received it quickly. The plastic storage case is sturdy and helps our techs from losing the sockets. It also has been useful in working on our Ford Transit Connect service vans.

These are well made, well fitting sockets. I routinely use with air as well as cordless impact guns. They have withstood over 450 lbs. of torque repeatedly. Fine product for occasional as well as everyday use. I am pleased, so are my vehicles and most of my family and friends vehicles as well.

9 piece kit for the price of most 4-5 piece sets, they look like most other large 1/2" drive sockets and should work about the same.I will say there is nothing "thin wall" about them, they are very thick and heavy duty sockets.

Product arrived quickly but was not quality tools you would expect. Tried to use 32 mm socket on a 32mm hub nut and the socket would not fit tried the 33 and it fit but was still a little too snug. I know it was the socket that had fitment issues because I used a quality sunex 32 mm and it fit perfect. Do not waste your money on this product I recommend sunex.

I needed to replace my front hubs on my Ford F-150, the 35mm was perfect fit and it could handle 250 foot pounds of torque. Got the job done, and save a lot of money.

The case is VERY flimsy but the sockets do the job.

Very good quality. I used it to change two wheel hubs/bearings. Had to put over 200 ft-lbs of torque on the 30 mm socket. It didn't have any problems and still looks new.
