I’ve finally found a material that’s clearer than my schedule on a Friday afternoon. This cast plexiglass is so transparent I actually lost it on my workbench for ten minutes—I was staring right at it, wondering where the heck my shipment went. Once I stopped trying to find the "invisible" board and actually put it under the laser, the magic happened. It cuts with the precision of a surgical scalpel and leaves an edge so polished you’d think it was finished by a team of tiny, professional glass-blowers instead of a high-powered light beam. For engraving, this stuff is the gold standard. Unlike that extruded plastic that melts into a gooey, disappointed mess, this cast acrylic frosts up beautifully. It creates a crisp, white contrast that makes my 3D designs pop like they’re trying to jump out of the sheet. It handles the heat without warping into a taco shape, which is a nice change of pace for my projects. It’s basically the "choose your own adventure" of crafting materials—whether I’m making a custom sign or a complicated award, it just works. The protective masking is the unsung hero here; it actually peels off in one satisfying piece instead of shredding into a thousand tiny confetti flakes that haunt your vacuum cleaner for weeks. If you want your laser projects to look like they belong in a high-end gallery rather than a middle-school science fair, this is your sheet. It’s sturdy, crystal clear, and doesn't complain when you blast it with photons. Just try not to lose it on your desk like I did—it’s deceptively stealthy.

I'm very happy with these cast acrylic sheets. I'm using these instead of glass in some cabinets I built, since I'm not confident in my ability to cut glass in the exact dimensions I required. Cutting these panels on a table saw with an 80 tooth carbide blade was simple and accurate, cutting with no melting and only very minimal chipping. Removing the protective paper was easy, but keep in mind that a lot of static electricity is generated when peeling back the paper, so do it in a dust-free area. The panels I received were in perfect condition, and had no defects or distortions at all. Clarity is the same as glass, or maybe even a little better. While the full 24x36 sheets had about 1/8" of defection when supported only by 2 edges, the 12x18 pieces I cut were nearly as rigid as 1/8" glass, and worked perfectly for mounting vertically in my cabinets.

Nice high quality mirror finish. I engraved from the back for a translucent look. The only ding is how it was packaged and shipped. The two sheets were shrink-wrapped and dropped in a tight-fitted box with zero corner clearance. Had the package been mishandled in the least the sheets would have had the corners chipped.

Heats bends and plastic welds very easily!

I have tried various brands of Plexiglass sheets and these are one of the best on my xTool F2- used it on this Mother's Day item. I took a picture of it to give you give an idea of what to expect. The blue light laser cut was great, did not melt or flame like other brands. It did flame slightly if the machine in a small area, but did process it twice at 80% at 6 mm/sec with one pass with no issues. This is glossy, but not overly shiny. I recommend cleaning it before and after processing because of fingerprints. The overall durability is good, even with the very thin lines I have on this design- it will still break if I use too much force but it does well for the price point. Obviously, use ventilation when working with it but it does not have a huge chemical plastic smell compared to other brands. I would recommend it and would use it on other projects.
