Super Pigmented!
Wow wow wow this has to be the best hair dye I've used so far and definitely worth the investment! I'd previously used much cheaper brands including directions and recently crazy colour which took 2 rounds of dying to fully saturate pre lightened hair and nearly the full bottle but this stuff is 10x more pigmented and I didn't even use that much in the tub at all and it's this bright in one go! So far I haven't experienced much staining at all as other reviews have stated and honestly, with the right cleaning products, any that I did get on my bathroom surfaces have come up just fine. £20 for 2 tubs might seem like a lot but honestly with how little I used on the first go, these 2 tubs are going to last me over a year! Very very happy and I looked fabulous for my friends wedding!

Newbie to hair colouring
This was for my 14 year old daughter who has wanted purple hair for over a year and wouldn't stop going on about it. In the end as she's almost 15 and clearly not changing her mind we settled on Manic Panic because it does not contain bleach and therefore will not destroy her hair. We didn't do it ourselves though as I wouldn't know where to begin even with instructions, she would probably do a good job to be fair but it would be messy. So I took her to a salon with the Manic Panic and paid my hairdresser to apply it professionally, and it looks amazing. The purple is not in your face, it's like a grape colour on her medium -dark brown hair and in the sun it's even more beautiful and quite vibrant. And her hair feels so soft. She absolutely loves it. I don't think it will last as long as conventional hair dyed because It doesn't contain bleach but I was aware of that beforehand and I'm happy with that. It's a compromise I wanted to make to protect her hair as long as I'm responsible for doing so. It did absolutely cover the salon sink purple when getting her hair washed and the stylists hands were stained a lot (she did remove her gloves because she couldn't massage her head properly with them on) So take steps to get the right cleaning products before going ahead and you'll be fine So far after 3 days there has been no staining on her clothes or bedding but she'll be washing it today for the first time so that's when I expect there to be cleaning up to be done. Clarifying shampoo before dying is recommended to strip all the oils and products from the hair, no conditioner and then dry it throughly and then apply. Good luck, hope your experience is as positive as ours. I really recommend for younger people who don't want to use bleach containing dyes.

I had virgin medium brown hair, so wasn't expecting the red to take too brightly.
I had virgin medium brown hair, so wasn't expecting the red to take too brightly. But I can confirm the result is closer to what is shown for light blonde hair. I can't speak for the longevity yet as it was only applied yesterday. But if you have dark hair and want it brightly coloured, it seems manic panic works rather well. It doesn't really seem to have a scent/odour, unlike most boxed dyes, and it very easy to apply. Although can be a bit messy...thankfully the white shower curtain has cleaned up very well in the washing machine. Make sure you have a pair of gloves to use for application!

Great first impression
Started dyeing my hair at the beginning of this year with no prior bleaching. The coverage is great and it's still got a stubborn hold on my mid length-ends even after spending the last few months trying to fade it with washing and growing my hair out. The amount in the jars also tends to last me a decent amount of time, there's enough to cover shoulder-length hair and then do touch ups as time goes on. It does transfer and stain quite a bit so keep that in mind. It also had a purply-red undertone to it which is noticeable when light shines on it. Personally I wasn't too keen on that so I balanced it out with blue panther over the top.

Definitely recommend!!
I bleached my hair and it was so uneven with so many different brands of red. But this manic panic red has turned out incredible. I’m so impressed with the coverage and how bright it is and how even it’s made my previous uneven red hair and It’s made my hair so soft and shiny

Do not buy stains skin Blue and turns hair blue NOT BLACK
Absolutely disgraceful, the staining of skin blue is awful, even days after washing it several times it’s still stains the skin blue, waking up and the skin is blue, the dye was meant to be black it went on blue and has now turned purple/blue and turned the roots green. This is awful and can see after now reading the reviews manic panic have don’t nothing to change the faults of this product for well over a year. Steer clear do not buy

Very blue!
I used to use manic panic when I was at university, but haven't used it for years. Recently I lost my hair to chemo and it grew back prematurely grey. It was making me a bit miserable so I decided to dye it a bright colour and went back to manic panic. You DO have to be prepared for it to dye your life as well as your hair for a little while, but it IS a temporary colour, it comes off things. When I used it back in the day I'd clean the shower right after dying it so as not to annoy anyone. This time I live alone and so just didn't bother to clean up, I was surprised when on my next shower almost all of it came off the wall of its own accord. The rest came off easily the next time I cleaned the shower. It comes off skin easily too, although I'd recommend vaseline around the hairline before dying. I actually managed to get some on the white painted wall at one point and it came off with an alcohol wipe. The only place I have trouble getting it off is my finger nails. The colour is much more vibrant than I expected, clearly grey hair agrees with it, I'm very happy with it. It's very easy to apply and was gentle on my newly grown hair. I have plenty left for additional colouring over the next month or two, it is too soon to say when I'll need to reapply.

It’s blue not green
The dye took well but the colour didn’t match the sample picture on hair or in the pot. I was hoping for a vibrant forest green but what I actually got was the same as manic panic shocking blue with better results. I’ve been blue for a while now so it’s not the worst situation but it’s not what I was hoping for. I bleached my hair completely white before this so it had a good base, this is the accurate colour.

TREMENDA
Ho i capelli completamente decolorati del biondo più freddo e chiaro possibile ma non ciò sono venuti VERDE SLAVATO. Tenuta in posa 1h, assurdo, soldi buttati.
