I used these to tie down my Halloween decorations when it’s windy and they work perfectly!

We have a couple smaller inflatable decorations for the holidays. I wanted something inexpensive and secure that I could just put in the ground and leave for many years. While the many years part is yet to be determined, these seem pretty stout and secure. It did make setting thiings up easier than those little peg stakes that come with things nowadays.

Appears to work well in the soil conditions where I'm at but not sure how long they will last in the heat of the sun.

Went camping in Northern Michigan and the wind was intense the day I arrived and has to setup. I wouldn't have been able to setup if I had used the stakes that came with my tent. These were exactly what I needed!

These screw-in anchors are pretty sturdy. There is a large hole for a twisting device i.e. a stick, pipe, screwdriver, etc. etc., split holes to easily loop rope, and the anchors are thicker than expected. They held up to screwing them into hard packed soil and held firmly against me trying to pull them out. I chose the yellow anchors so that they are not overlooked when breaking down camp. Being plastic, I’m sure they will eventually fail, but at just a buck-sixty each, you can have extras. 4 stars for now, 5 when they make them out of steel.
