The Unomor 8 piece ampule opener set works so well. Working in healthcare, the age old trick is to use gauze and break the ampule away from yourself. While this certainly does work, it is much more convenient, and safe, to use these silicone/plastic-like openers. Simply place top scored end of the ampule into the circular opening and break away from yourself as normal.These openers are very durable. Many medications that we stock still come in ampules, thus I have used these several times without any signs of wear/tear. Many of my colleagues were very interested, thus I have shared the rest of this pack with them to try. They all say the same thing- this is way more convenient. With the pocket clip, these openers easily fit on the side of scrub pockets!For those that have medical conditions and utilize ampules at home, this is also a much safer option when opening! I do still recommend being careful as there is always small fragments of glass that may shard off when opening.
