They work fine, but they're just slightly larger (by a millimetre or two) than the standard size cushion, so my Etude House and Pony Effect compacts will not close with one inside.

Just as good as the puffs that come with the cushions! Great to have extras, apply makeup smoothly and easy enough to clean
