RonsealDiamond Hard Floor Wax Natural 2.5L

Have just sanded all my wooden floors to remove old varnish finish. Used 2 coats of the Natural (clear) colour Diamond hard floor wax on the newly exposed wood. The wax is available in other colours like Natural Oak, BRILLIANT RESULT! Easy to apply with a brush,it dries in 30 minutes, to a satin finish not glossy, there is NO SMELL at all, it seals the wood well, and a damp mop will clean up any liquid spills you may have. VERY PLEASED with the result and would highly recommend this product if you want a trouble free durable finish for your wooden floors.

Very easy to use, these were raw old pine floors, didn’t change the colour too much, which is what I wanted, no odour which is great, I’m a woman who has never done any diy, but I decided to sand down raw floors, and do everything myself, so easy to use, and the result was perfect, I started off with thin layer, then added 3 coats, perfect!

5 coats but quick drying and the floor looks as good as new. would recommend

Gives a very good finish and is probably fine for use in areas where traffic is low - we used it in a kitchen and dinning room and after six months it is showing major sign of ware – now planning to sand the floor and varnish it

Looks great however it's not scratch resistant. I used three coats and let the room rest for 24 hours however within a few days the floor was showing scratches from my dogs claws so it's not that Diamond hard and I wish I had used varnish.

Having used another more expensive and widely recognised German brand, I can now say this one is far superior. Advantages listed below:--Very mild smell, while the other has very unpleasant smell lasting for days.--Quick dry. I applied this in winter at a room temperature of 18C. I could walk in socks on it in a couple of hours. While the other not touch dry in six hours!!!-- Easy to apply. Not as runny as the other.--It gives a nice stain-ish shine, lightly darken the original colour but not overly so. My visitors comment on how lovely and 'authentically woody' my engineered floor looks.-- Survived my two young children running their plastic toys over it, my garden boots occasionally leave rain water marks on it ...--Much cheaper!A very good product that hasn't earned its recognition, I'd say.

No problem with the product but the packaging was totally inadequate as I lost half the wax as it had leaked and was dented. I will have to consider buying again as the price was good but not for half the purchased product. Admittedly it was delivered to France but completely without protection.
