Great for all forms of pull-ups, even for tall guys
I bought this to replace a cheaper, more basic pull-up bar.For starters, this was very easy to assemble. I bought it 'used - like new' and it arrived with everything packaged in the box, with all tools and fittings. It had previously been assembled but was otherwise in good condition. The bar has three separate grips for pull-ups, a close chin-up grip, parallel hammer grips, and an angled wide-grip. Each grip has nice soft foam padding, approx 1.5-2" in diameter. The lever-style design of this bar means the grips are around 8" from the door frame, and are raised up to the height of the top of the door frame, increasing clearance from the ground and making dead-hang pull-ups viable even if you are tall (I'm 6' 3" and it works for me, I just have to bend my knees behind or use a bent-knee L-sit position). The wide grip is also far enough away from the door frame that you can do pull-ups without your elbows hitting the frame - a problem I had with my previous bar.All around, this is great quality for a great price and is very useful for training pull-ups at home.

Fantastic, sturdy door gym at a good price
Very easy to put together, but please pay attention to the fact there are two different lengths of screw and you must use them in the correct places! I've seen countless reviews of this product claiming it's not sturdy because they've completely messed up putting it together.Similarly, please check your doorframes and make sure you have the correct width and size that's suitable for this door gym. Adidas have provided the relevant dimensions and are also active at answering questions about suitable doorframe sizes so be sure to read all the questions/answers!I'm around 100kg weight and I've felt perfectly supported and comfortable using this. The additional grips make this far more useful than other door gyms as far as I'm concerned. If you dont want it living above your door the only problem is where to store the thing - it's pretty big!

It's good, but the measurements provided are totally wrong.
There are many doorway pullup bars our there, but I held out for this one. The mains reasons were the three different hand positions available, and that it places the bar much higher than most do, which is great for taller people like me. These aspects are good features. The door gym comes in pieces but is very easy to assemble, despite what some reviewers claim. (I honestly wonder how on Earth anyone can find screwing a few bars together difficult, with or without instructions.)However, after assembly I realised there was a problem. The doorway measurements provided in the product description here on Amazon are totally wrong. The doorway I intended to use literally fits the provided measurements exactly... 2cm architrave, 15cm inner thickness, 86cm overall width. However, the door gym didn't even come close to fitting because 15cm is much, much too thick. I could just about get it hooked over the top of the door frame, but it left the gym at a crazy (and probably very unsafe) angle.Thankfully, I have a couple of different door frame variations in my flat, and it fit one of the others perfectly. The inner thickness of that frame? 12cm! That's 3cm smaller than claimed in the official information. Not good, so please be aware of this before making a purchase!Once properly installed it does the job pretty well. Obviously it's made of steel tubes, not solid bars, so they do flex as they take your weight. But that's perfectly normal. I weigh around 80kg which is well under the stated maximum, and once hanging the bar felt stable and in no danger of moving. The final thing I think is worth mentioning is that unless your door frames are made of solid metal, this door gym will very likely leave some marks. It's a metal bar with a little padding, pressing down on much softer wood with the weight of a human being who is moving around, so it's hardly surprising. I think expecting any doorway pullup bar to leave things completely unmarked is pretty unrealistic. However, it's nothing that a little paint and perhaps some filler can't fix, so no big deal.Overall I like the adidas door gym and I think it's worth the price, but I have deducted a star for the incorrect information regarding doorway measurements.

Can't get better for the price
Really good at this time when I can't go out to workout. Easy to put together, everything you need is in the box, took less than 10 mins. Easily takes my weight, 85+kg. I like that it's got different grips, wide, narrow or parallel grips. It extends out from the door so you can do a pull pull up without the door frame getting in the way.As you can see I have a glass window above the door, and it's fine. The door frame is solid though, the weight from me hanging on it can take it. I tried it on a different door, where the frame was attached seperately from the main door frame and that would have snapped off eventually, so pick a solid door frame!Other people have mentioned it making a dent or marks on the door. This is true, after a few sets I did get an indent in the frame. To combat this I placed a small cloth under each end where the bar can come in contact, this stopped the problem and makes no difference to the function. For the price you can't get better in my opinion. Also it said it was out of stock when I ordered it, and delivery in 1 month, so I bought it anyway. It turned up less than a week later!

Screws are not holding
Screws are poor quality. On one of them (see photo) is impossible to put the nut therefore the bar is dangerous to use. All good if you change the screws where needed - what I did - but that means extra spending/time etc. Overall quality is good though
