Perfect for hedgehog refuge
We bought these to over-winter hedgehogs that are too small to survive hibernation. They're small enough and sturdy enough to stack and still give easy access for cleaning, weighing, feeding etc. The sleeping compartment is just the right size even for a large hog and straw to be cozy and secure. The base is plain plywood so a plastic insert like a drawer liner is probably necessary under any added sawdust. I'm not a fan of hutches for guinea pigs as a permanent home, and they should be kept in pairs anyway, so this (3ft one) is way too small for even one guinea pig.

Good size lovely home for sick hogs
A great addion to my animal rescue houses .Have had 2 patients in it so far who have appreciated the experience and been released successfully. I have put down newspaper to assist keeping clean as hogs are rather messy creatures .

It’s good accommodation for a hedgehog hospital
The only thing I dislike about this product is that the floor beets to be changed from wood to a wipeable laminate.

Lovely little cage
Very easy to put together. And is very sturdy and cosy. Currently using for one guinea pig in each due to castration surgery, so they are absolutely ideal.

Too small but has its uses.
Like others have said this is very small even for one guinea pig so I have been using it for when I need to quarantine a guinea pig so its useful for short term/short notice accomodation. Its not good as a long term/permanent home for a guinea pig.

Excellent indoor hutch
This excellent indoor hospital hutch is stackable, compact and ideal for housing poorly and over-wintering hedgehogs. This frees up space at our local hedgehog rescue where the hogs continue to receive treatment if necessary whilst in our foster care. This hutch is only suitable for an indoor environment. Extremely well made and good value for money, this is my second purchase of this product.

Perfect for hedgehog rescue
These hutches are perfect for my hedgehog rescue. I’ve ordered 2 more of the bigger ones to replace the cages you see on the top.They stack easily which is a huge space saver, allowing me to take in more hedgehogs.They’re front opening which is so much easier than the top opening guinea pig cages I was using.I’ve lined each one with lino as hedgehogs are messy critters and the base would become damp with waste in no time.More hogs, they’re warm and comfy and the time to clean and do daily medications is halved now.They come ready made and well packed so you open the box and it’s ready to go.

Lovely small cosy hutch ideal for rat who is 3 and back legs are no good for climbing anymore.
