Color:Dianthus This beautiful teapot comes from a collaboration between two artisans: David Birch, pioneering ceramic designer and director of London Pottery Company, and Kaffe Fassett, a renowned textile artist whose lively, colorful designs have delighted admirers for decades. The result is a teapot that displays both artists’ expertise in clear detail, while bringing their disciplines together into a complete, unified piece. The teapot, with its gently geometric form, is a thing of beauty in itself. Add Fassett’s playful, folkloric pattern into the mix, and form and function become one: the sloping sides act as canvas for the vividly symmetrical motif. The collection includes six of Fassett’s unique designs. Each is combined with a subtle glaze, which has itself been carefully selected to complement and enhance the detail of the wrap-around textile-based pattern. The teapot features a built-in stainless steel filter with a fine mesh that provides exceptional brewing. The hinged lid and wide handle add ease and comfort, while Birch's perfected dripless spout make for the perfect pour. This 4-cup teapot makes an excellent Mother's Day gift, Christmas gift, housewarming gift or birthday gift.

Functions just as nicely as it looks!
Well designed, quality, perfect size. Hold heats for quite a while. The basket/strainer part goes all the way down to the bottom of the pot unlike others that sit at the top. I was reluctant to spend the money but I’m glad I did.

Cracked on second use :(
The teapot arrived with a chip in the handle. I was going to overlook that but then the first time I used it, I noticed that it had moisture under it. And by the second time I used it the bottom completely cracked and I can no longer use this. Really not happy with this product. Could someone please contact me?

Heat holds very well, and the pattern is beautiful. Mesh infuser handles even veey fine teas, and cleans easily.

Lovely teapot, but lid mechanism is flawed
This is a 5-star item getting a lower ranking because of one serious flaw, otherwise I love this teapot, it’s the right size and it doesn’t drip. The patterned outside and overall design are excellent. The problem is the metal lid doesn’t stay open on its own. Filling it is quite awkward because it requires two hands, meaning you almost need a third hand to add the tea (bags or loose tea basket).

It is absolutely wonderful, either with the diffuser or without using tea bags. I am currently working on a wall hanging using Kaffe Fassett fabric, so it really puts me in the mood to get sewing!

Beautiful bright colours.
Super cute. Didn’t realize would be so small but am keeping it because of colours. Maybe a two cup?

Disappointing
Not as nice as the photo. It's a darker grey and rough quality. If your looking for a british made teapot, this isn't it. Returned it.
