There is nothing like pure, long-fiber virgin wool, and American-made Pendleton is just that. Anecdotal and assumed information is passed down by word of mouth by people who have never experienced quality pure wool; that wool is itchy and scratchy.Surplus blankets or cheap bargain clothing are made from reused or recycled wool scraps and mixed unknown fibers.I have two of these Pendleton heirloom quality blankets in Queen. !00 % pure virgin wool blankets.I have two Pendleton’s Yamika Camp blankets in Queen and one in twin size that I use as a throw. The Yamika Blanket is 86% pure virgin wool and 14% cotton. The cotton is spun over the top of the core wool.

I love that the blanket is lightweight, yet warm. The colors are beautiful. There were moths in all three sealed bags and we had a household epidemic. Called exterminator who verified and treated for wool moths which got into many rooms. Still finding a few moths after 6 months effort with exterminator, wool moth spray and wool moth sticky traps. The last blanket, I opened outdoors, allowing moths to fly, then covered both sides with heavy duty moth killer spray. Sealed blanket in heavy duty trashbag, loosely folded, for one month. Found dead moth debris in variety of stages. Sent blanket for professional cleaning. Now they smell fine and look great.

I've now slept under this blanket for two winters. I have never slept as comfortably warm as under the Pendleton, National Parks Blanket, Grand Canyon Navy, Queen (90in x 90in). It's impossible for me to convey in words but the blanket provides me a perfect balance of warmth and breath-ability. Not too hot, not too cold, just perfect.The colors are rich and aesthetically pleasing. The blanket is easy to keep clean of pet hair with a sticky lint roller.Well done Pendleton!

I felt odd about spending this much on a blanket. Boy has it been worth it. Light and warm. Good looking. Zero complaints

Pendleton ZION National Park Blanket - MADE IN THE USAMy favorite blanket(Zion) of the three I purchased(Grand Canyon & Badlands). All VERY nice.Beautiful looking, medium weight, wool blanket. Not as warm as my much more expensive Hudson's Bay, or a Lake Superior Woolen, which I use dead of winter. Or for that matter, The Pendleton camp blanket series(their warmest). The national park blankets though, are heavier than the Pendleton Eco-wool versions which are light to medium weight( I have one).

Beautiful blanket and very warm. Have not used it outdoors but simply as a throw around the house. It is well woven and should be very durable. The colors match some desert art pieces in the same room.

Nice blanket. Good quality and real warm. Very attractive too. My problem is the poor quality of the storage bag. Grabbed it and the plastic tore away from the zipper. Huge tear. Asked Pendleton customer service if there was a replacement and was told no. No separate one for sale nor a replacement. Kind of shoddy customer service for a high end product. I will need to find a replacement bag.
