I bought this tin mostly for my banana bread which I eat in the morning and it is absolutely great! I used it without the extension part and works great, my cake expanded as you can see in the pictures and was easy to remove from it without using baking paper. Also cleans easily, totally recommend!

I have used this pan a couple of times now and I have been pleased with the results.Firstly it is a very sturdy pan and seems to be good quality. It is non-stick and this actually works.I have baked a couple of loaf type cakes in this and the higher sides make for a more professional finish as the top doesn't collapse over the side of the tin.It washes well and I expect it to last a long time.

This bread tin has solved my problems with my gluten free dough spilling over in the oven. It washes up well. I am very pleased with it.

Gluten free dough rises quickly and often overspill from an ordinary loaf tin. The insert allows for a high rise and works very well for bakes with rising enthusiasm! The tins are sturdy and no stick and have a 25 year guarantee. They are very good quality and should last a long time.

Made excellent bread

Tin is great for getting loaves to rise upward rather than ‘mushrooming’ over a lower tin during the rise in the oven. However as another reviewer said, when taking out the tin, the bottom part comes off easily, but the top but gets stuck as it has rounder edges whereas the bottom half has squarer edges so have to push the corners of the bread in to get it out the tin, and you’re also left with a ridge on the bread. I couldn’t find any other high sided loaf tins at this price so bought this one. Cleans very easily. Can be used for any type of bread/ bun loaf etc.

There is a problem with the design of this as the insert creates a step in the loaf as well as a difference in the corners in the upper and lower parts. I trimmed off the corners so that the upper mould could be removed, but because of the step in the loaf it still took a chunk of the side of the loaf with it. It could be that with care and parctice it's possible to get the loaf out intact.I like the overall size and shape of loaf that this should theoretically produce, but a one-piece construction would be much better.
