There is nothing quite like the feeling that having screwed a heavy retro-focal lens onto the end of your telephoto lens so that you can do some high quality macro photography, you have too much unsupported weight on that camera lens mount and as a result, you will have caused permanent damage to the camera body. This Y bracket provides the support that you need if you are using a 15mm rod rig, a gimbal setup or similar configuration where your lens needs some help.The support is supplied with an M4 bolt as well as a BSW quarter threaded bolt so that you can attach it to a rod clamp (fourth photograph) using the latter where it works very well as you can see in the last two photographs. The two wheels on the ends of the arms allow you to rotate the lens if need be without scraping anything.In all, this is a very useful piece of equipment that can save you money both in terms of having to re-shoot and also in terms of replacing or repairing damaged equipment.

I got this support for a Sigma 40mm Art lens, and I was really happy with it. Lightweight yet sturdy, and easy to fit when needed. I'll be using it on my next shoot for sure as it gives me lots of confidence that my favourite lens is supported.
