Super robust, far better than anything in stores and cheaper!
This base is exactly what we were looking for - a dark color, really sturdy, and great quality. After looking in several stores and finding nothing that was high quality and black except one at over $1,000, I found this one and took a chance given that it did not have many reviews and a couple had concerns. Well not only is this shower base beautiful and super strong with lots of support ribs, but the price is fantastic for what you get. Yes it is heavy as stated in one review and that's because it is so robust, I'm sure that it will never deform or crack. There was another comment about "All my plumbers looked at this pan and were like ‘that’s not gonna work’" - there is no issue with plumbing, it's a standard drain opening, if you are not doing it yourself, then any competent plumber will easily be able to do it. Finally, I was worried about damage in shipment (especially since it is quite heavy) and it came very well packaged with good protection and double boxed - even though there was some external damage to the outer box, it was in perfect condition when opened.

Plumbers don’t know how to install this
This pan is pretty. I won’t lie.However. All my plumbers looked at this pan and were like ‘that’s not gonna work’… and it’s not a cheap pan. And now I have a pan no one will install (after the first guy installed it incorrectly). :(Go for a standard style, if you don’t need the ‘no-lip’ feature for a wheelchair/mobility issue. And if you do need it for that, then probably you need to find someone versed in accessibility to install it for you. :/

This is a decent shower pan.
Remodeled the bathroom and chose this pan. Went down with the tile and had only a slight lip. Zero entry (no curb) looks great. The textured bottom is nice to stand on. The slope isn't as steep as some others by design. It does leave a little water on the floor inside the enclosure, but that's not a huge deal for me.
