different and interesting
Great that the author takes a quite different approach to this novel. Be prepared to find yourself entertained, appalled and often confused by this storyline. 8/10

Heart Wrenching, disgusting and beautiful all at once
This book made me sob at points and so happy at others. This is a grimy, dark story that is devastating at times, but heart warming and joyful at others. I really do recommend this book if you want an interesting levelling up story in a dark steampunk world with magic and monsters.

novel idea not afraid to do things a bit differently
I enjoyed this audiobook, the narrator was excellent - not sure I needed to hear his attempt at the wolf talking but you can't fault his getting into character.Occasionally grim and gross, the dungeon is well written and very different from other litrpg worlds. You, and the characters never get a grip on it's purpose or size, or the creatures that live within. Some of the sequences drag a bit, and the author's writing from the point of the wolf means you are also not too sure what is going on.

Best audiobook
I loved this audiobook. That voice was perfect. Worth it. Will get the next one. When the wolf tried to learn to speak it was something so funny, new, unusual, primal and dark. I was laughing with the elf Emhreeil. That crazy, hysterical, scared shitle s s laugh. I will look for more books read by this narrator (Armen Taylor) as this is the first one that I really enjoyed. And my first time looking for the name of a narrator. His voice feels alive.

Dark but good
A story set in a Hive City from Warhammer 40k, with magic and progression. Dark as hell, so just know that going in. Unfortunately the ending isn't really an ending and it needs to keep going.

Great Read
"Fleabag: A Monster Evolution LitRPG" is a refreshing departure from the norm in the realm of LitRPG, introducing readers to a captivating world where evolution takes on a whole new meaning. The narrative takes us deep into the heart of the toxic Bone Pits, where mechanical nightmares and unnatural horrors lurk, setting the stage for an extraordinary journey. At the heart of this tale is an emaciated and wounded young wolf, struggling for survival in a hostile underground landscape. What sets this LitRPG apart is its unique twist: a protagonist that is neither human nor humanoid but a purely animal creature. The wolf's encounter with a deity who collects human souls propels it on a path of evolution, transforming it from a mere beast into a shapeshifting monstrosity. The dynamic partnership between the wolf and the elf Emhreeil forms the core of the narrative. Emhreeil, left for dead and broken, becomes an unwitting companion to the evolving wolf. The unlikely duo navigates the treacherous tunnels of the Bone Pits, facing not only the physical challenges of the environment but also the prejudices that come with being one of the most feared creatures in their world. What makes "Fleabag" truly engaging is the gradual revelation of the wolf's self-awareness and cunning. The protagonist, unaware of the danger it poses to the outside world, embarks on a journey of survival and self-discovery. The evolving bond between the wolf and Emhreeil adds a layer of emotional depth to the narrative, transforming what could have been a straightforward monster tale into a nuanced exploration of friendship and understanding. The author skillfully weaves action-packed scenes with moments of introspection, allowing readers to witness the gradual transformation of the wolf into a creature that defies the laws of nature. The world-building is vivid, with the Bone Pits serving as a dark and mysterious backdrop for the unfolding story. In conclusion, "Fleabag - A Monster Evolution LitRPG" is a breath of fresh air in the LitRPG genre. With its unique premise, well-developed characters, and a blend of action and emotion, this book is a must-read for fans seeking a new take on the evolving worlds of LitRPG. Prepare to be enthralled by the unlikely heroism of a wolf and an elf as they navigate the depths of dungeons and discover the true meaning of survival and companionship.

When the heroes not exactly heroic and monsters are more humane then humans. A really fascinating read and I can't wait for book 2.

Intriguing story line
This was my first LitRPG book and it was very intriguing. The world building was well done-not your typical sprawling dungeon, which was what I was expecting. And loved the character development with both the wolf and his elf companion. Really hoping for a part 2 to this storyline! Would love to see what happens to both after being separated in the final scene-the story ended up kind of too abruptly for me, with no real conclusion of what happened to either character.
