I have a little dachshund, although he is NOT little. He was supposed to be a mini, but he’s 18 lbs. Yes, he’s on a diet. Anyhow, Frank loves to wear his coats and sweaters. This year I’m taking him trick or treating. This costume is awesome especially since I have the alien one. Frank needed the XL because of the body length. The front legs were easy to put on as was the middle as its velcro. The back legs are a bit iffy for him, but I’ll probably just cut them a bit so they fit better. He’s just so long! But he’s so cute and his tail was going a mile a minute. It does take some time to fiddle with it to make it work, but it’s dang funny once it is there. Frank’s going to have fun, but not as much as I will! His humiliation for my enjoyment. Sorry Frank!

I used the specs listed in the size chart and it indicated my dog was an XXL. However, the costume strap did not fit over her chest as it was way too small for her

The media could not be loaded. Charley is a Norfolk Terrier, 16 lbs, but he's long so I got an XXL and it fits perfect. I had some extra pillow filling so added to it, as it needed it. It's funny when he walks, but it doesn't seem to bother him other than every one looking at him and laughing.

I bought the biggest for my Cavalier.Just perfect! So funny!

So awkard as a custume in general. Way too off sided for a small dog.
