Nice guitar, bad service
Sadly, I can only give this guitar 3 stars as I ordered it in plum purple but what arrived was a sort of raspberry pink colour. When I contacted Amazon they offered to collect the guitar and rush me a replacement next day. So as promised a second guitar arrived. This was also the wrong colour. Neither one was purple at all. After returning two guitars I gave up and accepted a refund and purchased my guitar straight from the Daisy Rock website. There are some positive points though. Pixie is a sweet little guitar. Something that isn't too clear from the description is that it is bowl backed rather than flat backed. That makes it a little different to play until you get used to it and it isn't for everyone but I really like it.The big surprise was that the sides and back are made of plastic. It sounds really bad when you put it like that but it's not. It makes a full size instrument feather light and seems plenty tough enough to outlast any wooden guitar. It also makes the Pixie less sensitive to changes in temperature and humidity.Like all Daisy Rock guitars the neck has been slimmed right down and that makes the guitar playable for just about anyone with small hands. It would also work well for anyone from around 8-10 years old. Most important of all is the sound. Pixie isn't big so it's not nearly as loud as you might expect. That makes it useful for beginners practicing. The tone is even across the range and it's not at all harsh. The small size does limit the bass a bit as an acoustic but that is easily fixed when played through an amp.Overall Pixie is a great girlie guitar. It is ideal as a first instrument but over time you may want something a bit bigger and louder.

more like expensive toy
The guitar general looks much prettier on photo than live. But for a cheap value you can not expect too much. The guitar is not well balanced. For example, 1st string is at least 70 % quieter than other strings. But as present for a daughter its OK. Its not professional instrument, more like expensive toy.

Looks and sounds great!
I already own an electric Daisy Rock so I was confident in ordering an electro acoustic. Looks great, sounds great and plays well. Very light, I invested in a hard case as I was worried about damaging it. The built in tuner is a convenient bonus too.

Amazing
I love this! The colour is amazing and the tone is great. NOT just a girly guitar for all those sceptics out there - a beautiful instrument in its own right. The details are gorgeous, especially the daisies... All I ned now is to learn to play better to do it justice!

Guitar
I'm afraid when the guitar was unwrapped i found it to be damaged ( not by the Courier ) so it was a great disappointment as I had to return this guitar to the supplier, and there were no more in stock at that time

FANTASTIC
Best guitar ever heard or seen plus it comes with automatic tuner you plug into it. Fantastic. But it can come like a more red colour that pink but still a nice colour.
