Great fixings
These dry wall fixings are brilliant. Just put some electric 3 column radiators up used these so far so good worked a treat. It's a large hole for the fixing so a definite measure twice job.

Excellent product!
Like other buyers, I was dubious about drilling a 25mm hole into the plaster board but after reading reviews about gripit, I thought that I'll try them. After drilling the 25mm hole, I cleaned the back of the hole with my finger, then tapped the gripit into the hole. Make sure that you push the centre of the gripit as far in as it will go with your finger. I didn't have a wide enough flat blade screw driver to turn out the lugs, so I angled a smaller screw driver to turn them out. You only need to do a quarter turn to get the lugs out fully. As you tighten the screw up, you are pulling the centre of the gripit back onto the rear of the plaster board. It does make a rock solid anchor. As I said, I was very dubious about them, but after putting two Tv's on the wall, I am very impressed as how easy it was to use gripit and how strong an anchor it creates.I 100% recommend using gripit.

The most secure plugs I've used so far
These really are pretty good and you can screw into them HARD to get a very solid attachment. And they're much easier to use than the older metal expanding bolt designs, and it's possible to remove them too, unlike those. They self-edjusting mechanism works a treat meaning you don't need to know the thickness of your board first. The downsides are you need to drill larger holes with a spade bit and the bolts these blue ones come with are very thick - too thick to fit a lot of fixings. in my case case too thick to get through the holes in my TV bracket, so had to drill the holes wider. But once fitted, I'm very confident 4 of them are holding a heavy 42" plasma to the wall with no problems.

Very strong fixing
I was amazed by these fixings and just how much weight each one can hold. I was looking to put some kitchen units on a stud wall and didn't want to start ripping plaster off the wall to install noggins in the wall to fix the cupboards to. I did a bit of research as to the best fixing to use and came across these. After watching a few videos online I decided to give them a go.They are super easy to use and the instructions are simple to follow. Drill a hole to the required diameter put the fixing in the hole and turn the coloured plastic lock with a screwdriver to lock out the wings. Then use the supplied screw to attach whatever you need to.The instructions mention using an under cutting tool that is supplied separate to trim back if the plasterboard is too thick or has adhesive where you want to use them but because I was fixing to a stud wall I didn't need this.I will definitely use gripits again, they give a strong and sturdy fixing point. They do come in different colours that relate to the amount of downward load each one can take so check the recommended weight load before just buying any.

Disappointed at first but did the job fantastically
To be honest I was quite disappointed in these, they only go to a depth maximum 15mm. Also you need a 10mm flat head tip to twist the insert so the wings go out fully out. Which does not say on the packet for instructions.Inserts, without knowing that the plaster board and new plaster was thicker than 15mm that they go to, when I drilled out the 25mm hole and knocked in the plug when you twist the insert it would not twist got jammed the plastic started to break when trying to twist it back so had to drill out to remove insert. To rectify the issue had to remove 2mm of plaster so the insert could twist. Yes they are good when fitted and held my tv to the wall really well. Just it took a lot longer than expected of time and wasted a good insert.
