These Gripit heavy duty plasterboard plugs are excellent. They feel very sturdy and hold extremely well, even with heavier items. Installation was straightforward and the fixings gave me a lot of confidence once in place. They’re ideal for mounting things securely on plasterboard where standard plugs just aren’t strong enough. Good quality, reliable, and definitely worth the price. I’d happily use these again and would recommend them to anyone needing strong plasterboard fixings.

Excellent! Very easy to use, and much stronger than traditional plugs. Perfect for mounting a tv to plasterboard.

Used these for a TV bracket onto a hollow wall. Brilliant. Easy to install, one tip I would give is as per the instructions it says make sure the arrow on the white plastic is in the correct position. It's hard to see but if you rub your finger round it you will feel it then just rub a pencil over it and your good to go

Good value but didn’t need them in the end but always handy to have in my toolbox only criticism is the bolts included could be a bit longer for fitting cabinets,1star off for that.

does the job - currently holding kitchen counter up, tv bracket up for 65 inch tv on plasterboard (static bracket, not moving one) - also use to have floating 3 piece tv cabinet on wall

Used them to hang a heavy wooden beam to plasterboard. Very strong and holding.

To be honest I was quite disappointed in these, they only go to a depth maximum 15mm. Also you need a 10mm flat head tip to twist the insert so the wings go out fully out. Which does not say on the packet for instructions. Inserts, without knowing that the plaster board and new plaster was thicker than 15mm that they go to, when I drilled out the 25mm hole and knocked in the plug when you twist the insert it would not twist got jammed the plastic started to break when trying to twist it back so had to drill out to remove insert. To rectify the issue had to remove 2mm of plaster so the insert could twist. Yes they are good when fitted and held my tv to the wall really well. Just it took a lot longer than expected of time and wasted a good insert.

I needed a heavy duty drywall anchor that would work on Insulated Concrete Form walls. The drywall in an ICF house mounts directly onto three inches of styrofoam, so there is no cavity behind the plasterboard. Most heavy duty anchors require a fairly deep cavity to work properly, these do not. After drilling the one inch hole (about half an inch into the foam), I used a small pick to remove some more of the foam in the spot where the anchor wings will spread, and Bingo! worked like a charm.

At first install into plaster wall it didn’t open up as easy as turning with a screw driver. It took some work. Very Leary at first. Once you screw the provided screws it forces the back of anchor to open. I used it on my tv mount currently holding my 86inch tv 87lbs Tv is not budging. Great if you don’t have or cannot find studs. Took star away only for anchor not opening up like suggested “with just a turn off a screw driver” also if your plaster is thicker than 3/4 inch it’s not going to work.
