Brabantia Touch Trash Can New, 8 gallon

I expected a touch-lid opener and got a foot-pedal opener.The opener would not stay shut and the can material is flimsy.

I searched for so long, on many websites, for the perfect trash bin. I wanted something modern that fit with my mid century modern home. Years Ive searched! I am so proud of this trash can. It’s a great size, the tight lid keeps the trash smell isolated and it’s so stylish! Totally obsessed. I don’t even know if this is considered expensive for a trash bin but it’s worth it.

The beautiful trash can arrived in perfect condition. It is made with recycled materials.Just touch the lid and it opens. And, the can never gets dirty as you can easily remove the inner plastic bin to clean.Ordered extra bags because I suspect they have to fit perfectly or the lid won’t close easily.

I’ve 3 months to write this review. Because I wanted to make sure this product was good for me. I have a tiny kitchen in our house. And a weirdly shaped space for a trash can. I researched and finally settled on this one. I love the color and strong, durable and sturdy construction for daily use. Easy for me because a removable inner bucket keeps bag from snagging and easy cleanable.

I love this slim trash can. It holds quite a bit, doesn't show fingerprints and is unobtrusive in my smallish kitchen. The only drawback is that it isn't easy to find Brabantia liners. The discovery that Simple Human brand size G fits - and gives a bit extra room when taken out - makes it an all-round good purchase.

Though I hate the fact that it’s too small and not perfect when they brought it.. but I still find it difficult to return it because I love it.

This is the second Brabantia kitchen bin I have bought my first one was over 20 years ago and it was starting to look a bit sad so thought I would push the boat out and buy a new one, the design and features are pretty much the same apart from the inner bucket being hard plastic as apposed to metal, its easy to use and looks the part in my kitchen, its a little on the expensive side but I guess you only get what you pay for, very happy with my purchase.

Had a Brabantia bin for years until I was a bit heavy handed and broke the lid. First new bin ironically had a poorly manufactured lid. Quick and efficient no quibble replacement. Perfect bin. No big deal but it is a bit fiddly getting the inner bin out which the old bin didn't have. If it lasts as long as the old one I'll be well happy.

Bought it for non-recyclable rubbish. A great size as I change the bin liner on a daily basis, so didn’t need a huge one. Looks smart next to my matte black kitchen unit. Can’t fault Brabantia products.
