A large sturdy brush capable of handling the massive snowfalls of Western New York
This is an excellent snow brush, perfectly capable of handling the heavy and constant snowfalls of Western New York. This is the second time i've purchased this brush, I bought one for my Fiancee who recently moved here after living in less wintery southern New York climates. The large brushing surface allows me to clear my car in a fraction of the time that it takes others around me to clear their cars, the long telescoping handle means I can completely clear my car from one side of it, meaning I only need to walk to the other side to clear off the passenger side windows. The extra height of the brush means that even heavy snowfalls are no match and I can clear the car in one swipe. The brush folding in the middle and making a T shape when unfolded means not only does it get nice and compact for easy storage, but it can also be used, while folded, to make clearing smaller areas, such as side windows and mirrors much easier. The brush is not without it's downsides however, The rubber squeegee side is an extremely hard rubber that on my first brush cracked and chipped easily once it got cold and brittle. Even if it didn't get damaged, it's so hard that I would be afraid to use it for fear of scratching the paint on my car. This however, in my opinion, is not an issue as I have found the bristle side to be completely sufficient in clearing my car. The rubber side also does have a small gap when unfolded and leaves a small line of snow uncleared when using it. Another minor design flaw is that the stop for collapsing the telescopic handle is a bit too high, if you collapse the handle while the brush is unfolded, you will not be able to fully fold the brush as the sliding mechanism will hit the end of the collapsed telescopic handle. This is easily overcome by simply folding the brush first then collapsing the handle. I would highly recommend this brush for anyone who has to deal with a significant amount of snow on their car on a regular basis.

Does not last long, cheaply made!
I had the original Oskar non-extendable snow brush for many years and I had to replace it. So I decided to go with the same thing, but extendable. Well, to be perfectly blunt, it is a piece of CRAP. The little lever to allow it to extend worked once and ONLY once. After the first use, the lever would not stay down, thus keeping the brush from extending. So I set it at the length I wanted it and wrapped it up with tape to keep it from moving. A month later, the brush extends with the smallest amount of pull. When pushing and pulling snow off my car, it extends and closes on it own. All in all, completely unhappy with this purchase and highly advise anyone to stay away from this. It looks great and sounds great, but you're only going to get a couple good uses out of this cheap plastic piece of crap!

Guaranteed Expiration Date!
Broke within a few weeks of heavy/moderate snowfall, metal is very easily bendable when scraping off hard Ice, thought this was the best one but I am mistaken.

Oskar
We have 2 Oskar and we love them. Our concern is that this seller sent the Oskar wrapped in cheap bubble wrap and it arrived broken. Sent it back for refund.

Perhaps the best snow brush EVER
I just bought a new Oskar Extendable Snow Brush to replace one I had for about 15 years that finally snapped under the stress of some unusually heavy snow. (We pride ourselves with the light and powdery type that falls most of the winter on the Western Slope of the Rocky Mountains.) This new snow brush has a metal handle while my old one was all plastic. Still, the old one survived a few years of winter in Westport, Conn. before being put into service in Durango, Colo. At any rate, I have always appreciated the collapsing and expanding wing-like brushes. From compact storage behind the front seats, to wide strokes to remove a lot of snow from the windshield. It just doesn't get better than this. We have all said at one time or another, when dealing with snow, "I would pay $$$$ for a good snow brush or easy-to-install tire chains/cables." I may have to buy a few more as holiday stocking stuffers for next winter.

Do not waste your money
It broke after I swept light snow from my car. One use, and it was over. For less than half the price, I bought a sturdy one from Target. After five uses, it is still in one piece and works great! Stay away from this product unless you want to waste your money.

Great Brush
Better design on the overall brush and scraper. Already have two others from the early 90s and was happy to see the design still available with a few improvements.

Broken x2
When I first looked at it I was glad that it was exactly what I was looking for. Then I went to use it. Extending the brush proved to be not only difficult, but impossible to use once it did extend as the two pieces separated. Also, the scraper at the end of the brush did not stay on.I looked for some type of latch for both the extension and the scraper, but there was nothing. Figuring it was a defect, I returned it for a replacement. Fast forward....get replacement. This time the scraper stays on...yay! Attempted to extend the brush and ran into the same problem as the first time. Also, the rubber edges on the brush were missing. I decided that there was not going to be a third try and I returned the brush.

Great product especially for an SUV
Really great product, hopefully it will last as long as my older Oskar for 25 years it is a little stiff to open but with time it will loosen up.

Balai à neige léger intéressant
Balai léger, nettoie parfaitement et dégage rapidement la neige cependant le racloir est fragile.
