BesWin Office Chair Mat for Carpet, 30" x 48", Clear

I’ve purchased and tried several office chair mats for carpet, but this one is definitely the best so far! I’ve been using it for a few days and have rolled my office chair over it many times. The quality feels sturdy and durable, and it stays flat without curling. It also makes it much easier to move my chair smoothly across the carpet while helping protect the carpet underneath. I really like that it is clear, so it doesn’t take away from the look of my office. After trying so many different chair mats, I’m very happy with this one and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good-quality chair mat for low-pile carpet.

This mat was a great addition to my home office! I do wish that it was a bit bigger because I keep rolling off of the side. But it was a great bargain for the price and has been very durable for the time that I have been using it. I see where some have complained that it might shatter. I have solid wood flooring and have had no issues. I would suspect that those who have has issues are using it on carpet. The specifications for this unit do state that it can be used on carpeting, but I would also suspect that there is a limit to that since thick carpet would likely cause more flex than thin carpet. It might be advisable to consider whether your carpet has a thick pile before ordering this item.

The mat is high quality, with clean edges and well designed nibs on the bottom for traction. No complaints there. It’s listed as being “for carpet”. That implies rigidity. The carpet in my office is a tight weave, short nap area rug sitting on a layer of traditional carpet padding. My chair has rollers on it like you’d find on rollerblades. They leave divots in the mat that require a bit of oomph to get it moving sometimes. It’s a lightweight chair and I’m not overweight. So it’s a bit soft for carpet, but not in a way that makes it difficult to use. My previous mat was more rigid and easier to roll on. But it was hard to keep the chair from shifting away from the desk sometimes because it rolled too easily. So I’m happy with the mat. I just think it should be a bit more rigid because I know that there will be lots of people with more plush carpets that will struggle with the flexibility of it.

Works great for protecting my carpet. The plastic is sturdy and easy to clean, and it helps prevent dirt, spills, and wear from getting directly onto the carpet. It lays flat and is a good size for the area I needed. Simple, practical, and worth the price.

DO NOT PURCHASE THEIR PRODUCT! This tempered glass chair mat was one of the worst purchases I’ve ever made. The product is advertised as being able to withstand up to half a ton of weight, yet it shattered into thousands of razor-sharp pieces while I was simply sitting in my office chair one evening. I wasn’t doing anything unusual—just sitting at my desk. For reference, I’m 5’2”, and I certainly don’t weigh anywhere close to half a ton. The exploding glass scratched my legs, and tiny shards were scattered throughout my room. Even after vacuuming and cleaning repeatedly, I continued finding pieces of glass for months. One shard somehow ended up in my bed, and while sleeping it scratched my face badly enough to leave me with a permanent scar. What made this experience even worse was the company’s complete lack of concern. I contacted them multiple times to report what happened because I believe this product poses a serious safety risk. They ignored my emails and phone calls, never acknowledged the incident, and never offered a refund or any assistance. Instead of taking a potentially dangerous product seriously, they chose to remain silent. The entire ordeal became a nightmare that lasted for much of the year. If you value your safety, your home, and your peace of mind, I strongly recommend avoiding this product and choosing a chair mat made from a safer material instead.

It works for the price but is half as thick as my old cracking one from Office Depot. My carpet isn’t that deep and the bottom of the shaft drags as I move around and wheels leave impressions. I’ll probably just go to the store and see what’s available now.

My previous mat got cracks and was broken. When I look for alternatives, I found this one with very affordable price and gave it a try. It turn out great. My chair can move smoothly on it. It has grips in the back side and doe not move easily on carpet. A bigger size may work better for my chair, but overall I am satisfied with this purchase.

This mat does NOT work on carpet that has any pile to it. If your carpet is incredibly flat, burber-like carpet, it will work. But, even my low-pile carpet was too much for this mat. The mat is thin and when I sat my chair on the mat, it immediately indented and I could not slide my chair across this mat. I am sure it works fine on hard surfaces but my office has carpet and thus, this mat does not work well for me. Definitely returned and going back to the previous brand I used. Cheaper does not mean the same or better.

This is awesome. It's very thick and wrapped tightly so you have to carefully uncurl it when it first arrives, but that just takes a few hours. So far it's awesome and it works so well on my carpet. I have no complaints

This is one of the only chair mats in its large size of 48x60 ish that I was looking for. Actual measurements were 47x59. Needed it for a chair with rubber casters over builder grade low pile carpet in my office in my house. Good to get the version with the spike/cleats for carpet so that it doesn't slide around. My old one was just flat and slid too much. It has now been 3 weeks since I received this item and it is still wavy. As soon as it arrived, I brought it inside so it was not at all out in the cold. Unrolled it right away and placed weighty books all over and also had it in a sunny room, everything that the manufacturer advises. After the 3 days they recommend, it was still wavy, and now at 3 weeks, still wavy. That is problem #1 Problem #2 is that the material is too thin to resist marks and dimples from the chair. I have for sure a low pile carpet, but this deforms too much. Thickness is about 2 mm. Even without me sitting in a chair, the 5 wheel marks linger. With sitting in chair for 1 hour doing work, the marks are so deep that it resists chair moving and sliding, which entirely defeats the purpose Problem #3 is that it is rolled so tightly that it is so tough to unroll it without help, and the spikes are very sharp. Like will cut you sharp. Repackaging it to return it was tough. In conclusion, the price is great, but the quality was awful. Spend more for a 4-5 mm thick version that, if possible, is not shipped in a rolled way, and I think you should be fine. The support email on the insert they provide was useless. Has been 2 weeks with no response
