It takes a bit of trial and error to understand how this projector works, both on its own and with the remote control, but it is SO worth it. Once you get it going, it is absolutely beautiful and soothing to look at. It has a variety of selections for color choices, as well as an option for the light to rotate, which is what creates the illusion of waves, or for the light to hold still, which results in a pretty pattern that stays still.Personally I don't care for the sounds that are automatically recorded on it because it is obvious they are on a very short loop that repeats or this would be a good white noise machine too. I just turn the volume down so I can't hear them at all. There is also an option to connect it to your own music source if that's your preference.As for the operation of the light, since it's difficult to understand the directions that come with it, this is the way the projector works for me AFTER turning on the switch on the bottom of the base: The power button on the base of the light works, as well as the red power button on the remote control. The trick is to get the remote control at the right angle for the sensor at the top of the control panel on the base to pick it up. The location of the sensor makes that a bit tricky and also makes it so you have to be fairly close to the base in order to find this angle (see photos). The same is true for turning it off. You can also turn it off by pushing the green button on the left of the remote control seven times. This rotates through all the light variations and ends by turning itself off.I rated it four stars because of these problems, but once you get the operation down this light does not disappoint.

I needed a night light for my 3 month old who is very picky when she sleeps. She usually likes her sound machine that has the white noise so she will fall asleep and stop crying. I bought this originally for the lights. The sound is pretty good in my opinion. The lights are amazing. I just laid her down and she watched the lights for a few minutes and listened to music and was out in no time. I love it ! Only thing I didn't like was the need of an adapter for it, and you can slightly hear the light rotating but not unless you're really close to it. Other than that, I feel it is well worth the money.

Basic functions of the device are good. It plays music from an external source, or from a micro SD card. The speaker does not provide the kind of volume and fidelity a user might expect from his stereo system, but it has nice mid-range capabilities which make it fine for listening to music while relaxing to the light show. The light projection is good, but the light modes are disappointing. Only a couple take advantage of the machine's multi-color capabilities and none of them is responsive to the music.Though the device appears to be reasonably well-made, aspects of the product are so slapdash that one must be concerned about durability. For example, the device is inoperable out of the box. The user needs to have a 5 volt transformer that takes a USB cable in order to power he device. The documentation in English is comically inadequate. For example, there is no information about the capacity of micro SD card it can handle. (I have been using a 16 GB card without problems.) And, it is difficult to take seriously, much less rely on documentation that has "Patented Product Counterfeiting" printed on the manual's cover.

Was a little nervous to purchase as I was afraid the images wouldn't show on the side of our house. So glad I did purchase though! I love all the options of images and all the colors as well. The timer function is great and it's easy to change the patterns as to what you want to display.

I wanted to spruce up my Christmas display this year without spending too much, so I purchased this snowflake projector. I had never used projector lights before but WOW what a difference this little light made! The snowflakes projected onto my siding crystal clear and they floated around the space beautifully. It was inexpensive, staked into the ground easily and turned on remotely with our timer. The light was a warm color instead of a harsh white and it easily became my favorite addition to my display this year.

Doesn’t work all the time. I keep it because when it works it is beautiful. Every once in a while it will turn on when I push the on button. The glass on it also falls off at the lightest touch. Scared to buy a new one because I don’t wanna waste my money again.

I'm mostly happy with that little lamp. Took one star out because the reach of the lights is very limited. Needs improvement on the distance. I had to placed in a tree close to the house to reach the second level. From the ground on the grass, the picture would look fuzzy and faded. Recommended for a small house!
