Very impressed with how good this is. Works great, charge lasts ages and connects to my iPhone every time. Holds the phone firmly and button is very responsive, the detachable button is a great feature.

Much steadier using this grip. Remember to turn off Bluetooth before putting it away. I shot 165 images of the inside of my camera bag!

I thought that from other reviews of this product that it would be a useful add-on for my new Experia phone. Not so fast! it clips on and feels great, I was a pro' photographer and used everything from 5x4 plate cameras to recent DSLR's. Once installed the first issue was that the shutter release just activated the zoom out, not back. I went through the phone menus without any success. I then discovered that Proshot, an android advanced camera app' might offer a solution. It is £7.59 ish and is an awesome bit of software. I am still going over all the features one of which is that the shutter release on the CG02 works. The next job was to work out how to get my images files from my Experia to my Macbook. That is where Macdroid comes in. It is a download and after a couple of hours going over various levels and menus on the Experia I got it to mount on the Mac and open up to move all files back and forth. I am happy but disappointed that so may hoops need to be jumped through to get android and mac on the same page!The CG02 is a good add on and I look forward to taking better images on my phone with it, very pleased!

An excellent accessory that provides a camera-like experience when taking photos. Highly recommended.

Purchased for my adult son as a birthday present. He chose this one himself & is very pleased with the performance, the 5-star is his recommendation. He used it to take my passport photo. The holder can also be attached to a tripod.

Can't give higher than 3 stars. The detachable remote is too easily dislodged from the base and could be lost. The Bluetooth connection is not permanent and the device has to be frequently paired again with the phone. Unfortunately I can't recommend for use in challenging circumstances.

great product for the phone

This is my second purchase in the 'bluetooth shutter remote camera grip' market after the first (a similarly priced rival brand) developed faults almost immediately out of the box. This is a far superior product. Robust and effective. So far it does exactly what you would want it to very well. No issues with Bluetooth connectivity, the fill light is a nice useful touch, the detachable magnetic remote is incredibly handy for creative shots and videography. My previous purchase had magsafe connectivity so it was a snip to attach but it felt a tad too flimsy for comfort. This isn't magsafe but I don't miss it. There is very little chance of this doing that. The grip is solid. So far so good. Would recommend.
