Great sound, noise canceling a huge plus
I bought these to wear on flights (I travel weekly for work) after looking at and testing several active noise canceling earbuds (Bose and Phaeton), I chose these for their performance and price. The materials and controls all seem to be high quality with no flimsiness. There are 7 choices of earbud tips to choose from as well as an airline 2 prong adapter I even noticed that the phone jack is very short, unobtrusive, and has a nice flexible rubber 90 bend so as not to catch on things. Knowing they've been developed by a company that has been in the speaker business for a while makes me feel like I can trust its going to be a quality product as well. As far as the noise canceling, it seems to work pretty well, it will eliminate all but the loudest sounds. I can barely hear the inside of the cabin on the flight as well as people talking. I really enjoy not having to cringe over the flight attendant's announcements while on flights. I can still hear them, they just aren't blaring. When wearing these around other people in a medium noise environment, like in an airport terminal, I can't hear anything from the outside. I love the sound the speakers (13.6mm) put out and is far superior than any other medium priced earbuds I've heard, nice crisp highs and surprising lows (8-25 kHz). The controls are easy to figure out and the speaker seems to work well, no complaints from people on the other end. The packaging says they have 115db of sensitivity, which I think are comparable to or better than $300 B0SE. All in all, I think these are a much better bargain and the sound is comparable to higher priced options.

Almost perfect
I am super happy with these headphones! They don't block out 100% of all noise, but I would say at least 90% and that's pretty darn good, as far as my needs are concerned. For example-if a fire truck is going down the street, you will still hear the siren, but the annoying person on the bus having a loud conversation on their cell phone is indistinguishable.I love that they are compatible with my iphone and there are some controls on the cord that you can adjust volume and skip or go back to the previous song without fiddling with your device. The one thing I wish I would've known is that they are battery operated, so you've got to make sure you have a spare battery if you're going on a long trip or something. No sound will come through the headphones if they are not switched into the on position but you need to make sure you turn them off when you're not using them or you'll waste the battery. Also, there is a little piece that holds the battery and since it holds the battery it is kind of heavy. It has a clip so you can attach it to your belt buckle or your pocket, but if you're not wearing an outfit that is conducive to attaching the clip you've gotta get creative. Also, on that little piece is a button that turns the volume way down so you can hear outside sounds if you need to. Convenient if you're doing it on purpose, annoying if you hit it on accident while you're clipping them on, or as you are walking. It really hasn't been much of a problem though, and I have been using them a lot. I did consider returning them because of this extra piece that was kind of awkward, but I've gotten used to it and it's no problem now.I would definitely recommend them. For the price they are a solid noise cancelling option, a fraction of the cost of the Bose, with a lot of the benefits in place.

Looking for the best in-ear headphones with noise cancellation? You may want to keep looking.
I have had these over 1 year now and haven't used them much - maybe 40 hours... but here is why:Very Uncomfortable - I have changed all ear bud types that were included with the purchase and had discomfort within 20 minutes of use on all types. Bulky - the cord is flat - cumbersome and doesn't flex well. The noise cancelling box is large, heavy and controls don't work all that great. The weight combined with the short cord seems to be always tugging at my ears. The sound quality is good, and the noise cancelling is good (not as good as QC15 Bose but that may not be a fair comparison since they are over the ear) however, I can't recommend based on the comfort level and overall design of the product. I expected much more for the price I paid. I have purchased several sub $20 pairs that fit better and have near as good sound quality. I also own the Bose in-ear (non noise cancelling) and those fit and sound great. I mainly purchased these to have an in ear pair with noise cancellation. The packaging is phenomenal but i think more effort would go in to the design and fit of the product.
