These two are the cutest!!! When we pulled them out of the box, my daughter and I immediately said, "Awww!!!" I believe this adorable design will make my daughter want to use them even more! I might even use them to take notes at work! :) The lock feature to prevent your writings or pictures from being erased is AWESOME! You can then take a picture of your finished work to capture it forever and move on to other writings and drawings! You can unlock the device and then press the positively precious little nose of the creatures and it will erase anything written on the screen and give you a clean (black) slate to start over with. The text and drawings show up in a rainbow of colors. These tablets have already been helpful with Bible verse memorization and Spelling Words and Math Problems. Sooo much better than finding scrap paper and wasting piece after piece. Helps to save the trees!!! :D The little writing pen is just a piece of plastic formed into a pen/pencil. It has a little compartment at the bottom of the tablet that it fits nicely into. I worry a little that since it doesn't have a string attached to it and attached to the table that it could be easily misplaced and lost. But hopefully your child can get into the habit of putting the pen/pencil back into the slot when they are finished. But regardless of that, I would highly recommend these for school, and for Birthday or Christmas presents. Any child would have fun using these! I would highly recommend them for purchase! :D

My 4 year old son loves these doodle pads. They operate like those scratch-off art kits, with a black surface that you scratch away to reveal rainbow colors underneath. Unlike those, the color pallete on these in more limited, covering blues, greens, and yellow, but no red, orange, or purple. See the koala pic for an example of the color spread. The colors are static, meaning the area that's yellow will always be yellow.However, unlike those scratch-off paper kits, these are reusable! Push the little button (in this case, it's the animal's nose!) and the whole table resets to black. If you want to keep a drawing, there's a toggle switch on the back that prevents it from resetting if the button is pushed.The device uses a single CR2025 button battery, which should be good for a very long time. It's only used when the button is pressed to reset the tablet. Your main concern will be losing or breaking the stylus. As it is simply plastic, however, it should not be difficult to find something else to do that job.They're thin, lightweight, have no cords to worry about, and the ears are soft and rubbery. The designs are adorable.

I got these for use when my nephews come over to visit, and so far they love them! These are a fun take on the black and white magnetic boards I used as a kid with a fun twist of colors. They are a smidge on the flimsy side, but they are so lightweight I don't think that will be an issue for their normal expected lifespan. The main thing I didn't like about these is the way the "pen" attaches to the unit. My set didn't come with instructions so I looped the string around the hole at the bottom of the screen, but that's not the most secure feeling spot. Would like to see a more clearly dedicated mounting point. Outside of that these are a good value, but if you can catch them on sale I say grab a set for your kids, as a gift, or just to have if you have kiddos that come over.

As a grandma, I'm always looking for things I can do with my grandkids who are 4 and 6. I generally pick them up and take them home and sometimes they don't always fall asleep, so they need something that can keep them busy. These seemed like the perfect answer and yes, it does seem to work. It was very easy for them both to use and we would think of things to draw between potty breaks. The tablets erased decently and the battery seems to last a while. The stylus pen was easy for both kids to use and hold. My order included 2 tablets, so it was nice to have one for each kid. They are not the best quality, in my opinion, but they do the job and will last a while. If your kids are hard on toys, this might not last very long. As we only use it on our car rides, I think these will be fine. As they are not super large or thick, they fit in the back pockets of the car's front seats for easy storage. Anything to get the kids to enjoy art is a good thing.

these little writing tablets are SO cute. i can’t get over how adorable they are, and they’re way bigger than i was expecting! my kids will sit down and be sooo good just drawing and playing beside eachother and i love it. i would’ve ordered these way sooner if i knew they would love them so much. the tablets are actually really well-made and work wonderfully and i highly recommend these!

This writing tablet is great for so many ages! The colors are vibrant against the black background. This can be used for drawing, practicing writing, note taking and so much more. I love the added touch of the animal, making this unique compared to others. My daughter loves this. It is great to travel with, providing no mess and easy transport.

I love these tablets as they are simple yet great for the kids to have on the go or for them to have something simple to do. Mine love practicing their writing and numbers on these as well as doodling their imagination. These are very cute and extremely easy to use, the grandkids reach for them each time they are over!Which is so much better for them, then watching tv or video games! My three year old has learned to play tic-tac-toe on the one she uses. Drawing on them is very easy and push one button to erase and start all over. Simple, fun and extremely cute!
