Another nice CIVIVI knife!
Excellent knife! Blade quality and sharpness are a CIVIVI factor. This knife's off-white scales, texture, and size make for the perfect every day gentlemen's carry.

Very Impressive Knife
Even though my wife was not overjoyed with me buying another knife, I'm really happy I decided to pull the trigger on this Elementum. I've had my eyes on getting a knife with an Ultem handle and it's just as sexy in person as it is in pics. Everything from the gorgeous coloring of the Ultem handle against the black, to the insanely sharp blade, this is now one of my favorite knives that I own. Next I've got my eyes on the Civivi C2103DS-3.

Sharp and sturdy every day carry knife
Despite it being from China and my doubts- I was wrong. Nice little EDC (every day carry). I use it all the times opening packages. Paper can really dull a blade but so far so good!

Keeps a sharp blade
I initially felt it larger than I expected. I was just replacing a knife I always had in my pocket, I had replaced to one previously. That's me.This pocket knife was more than I wanted in my pocket. Then I found my previous knife...in the garden. I was happy.I've now come to to truly like this new knife. It has the larger blade with a much better cut. It's not in pocket all time but Ido use it a lot.

Ultem scales are to brittle for EDC
This is a really nice EDC-grade knife but unfortunately I didn't research the Ultem until after mine cracked around the pocket clip screws during normal use - turns out Ultem is known to be very brittle and those who are better informed on such things are as baffled as I now am as to why it would be used on a EDC knife. Bit disappointed, particularly since I love the machined texture on these scales and doubt g10 will feel the same if I returned it or got some aftermarket scales. Learn from my mistake I suppose, Ultem looks cool but isn't well suited for the application.
