Much Sturdier than I expect it to be
I only bought this originally as a back up tripod but it’s considerably better than I expected it to and now my go to tripod for most uses. Its also far more solid and sturdy than I expected it to be. I use a Sony A7C with the included ball mount top and even with a heavy zoom lense like the 24-105 G, it’s very happy tilting almost 90 degrees down for when I record content like unboxing videos or tutorials. It holds firm, even with extras on the camera like portable lights and a microphone. It’s small enough to fit in a laptop rucksack when folded down, so perfect for a discrete compact studio in a bag. It probably wouldn’t last long being used in the field with heavy use but for travelling, no problem.I would potentially say it’s the best tripod I’ve used for a home studio. My workshop space is tiny and the customisable variations of how it can be set up, really works without being fiddly and as already mention losing stability. My only negative comment is that the ball joint top does unscreen for too easy sometimes, when I’m trying to adjust the head, or rotate, it does start to unscrew which would make it less sturdy without re tightening. A lock mechanising would have worked well here I think. But anyway a solid, compact tripod for photo and static video with a medium sized camera.

Light, good for travelling and hok
I really like this tripod, good for travelling and hiking. However, it’s not very steady when all legs are open on a windy day.

Fantastic Travel Tripod!
I bought this to use on a recent trip to Portugal and it did the job very well despite how light and compact it is. The tripod has a surprising level of strength despite my initial concerns when I first saw it. However, it held my Nikon D800, 24-70mm lens and my heavy Nikon 14-24mm lens very securely. It also fitted in the base hidden compartment of my vanguard VEO camera bag with a good few inches to spare either end. The twist grips on the legs are much stronger than the clip legs versions too. I definitely recommend this great little travel tripod, after 2 weeks travelling around Portugal it is still like new and ready for my next adventure!

Great tripod. Shame bits keep falling off.
The tripod is good, very sturdy, very light. The twist-lock legs are slower to deploy than snap-lock but I can live with that. The problem is that within a week, the spring-loaded hook for weighing the tripod down fell off and was lost. And then about two weeks later the pan-lock knob fell out and was lost, which is super annoying since Manfrotto doesn't seem to carry a spare so I now can't lock off the camera. In addition, one of the legs keeps coming loose and I need to keep tightening it up; on the positive side there's a hex wrench supplied, but it seems like the design of this tripod as a whole just has too many screw-on parts that don't stay screwed on.

Lighter than Carbon fibre models
Great quality lightweight Tripod which is lighter than some of the Carbon fibre offerings. Comes with storage bag and additional spiked feet.

You know what you're getting
As you would expect from Manfrotto: It's great quality, sturdy, well made, lightweight enough to be practical, and it will last for years. In exchange you pay a premium price tag.

Not bad for the price
Overall it’s not bad, slight issue with the plate that came a bracket sits on, it’s not very sturdy

A great lightweight tripod
For a lightweight tripod it's very good however not as tall when fully extended as I hoped.
