Gratitude Glass Jar

Update:I reordered another jar after being so disappointed with defected one I received and returned. The second one is much better, not leaning. The lid is smoother and fits jar much better, it's a little bigger than jar so no gaps. I still think lid could be nicer, but I see appeal in being able to paint it whatever color you want. So I will paint it, but it's another craft project on the list I don't really have time for. It should just come painted to match gratitude in that coppery color, then it would appear more finished. After all, even if they painted it a color I don't like, I can prime and paint pretty much anything, it doesn't have to be raw unfinished wood. Because I feel the lid is so plain and needs to be painted I'm deducting 2 stars, one for lid and one for high price.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I've been looking for a gratitude jar for so long and even tried to make my own before realizing I'm not good at stenciling and finally buying this. This is a very expensive jar so the fact the bottom is very crooked and the entire jar leans too much to ignore is unacceptable. I know it's handmade, but I just couldn't stand to look at it, it looks like it's going to tip over, it's even more pronounced to naked eye than in photo. The wood top doesn't fit well and leaves gaps, being smaller in some areas than jar mouth. It's also rough in spots, I at least expected it to be smooth. I knew I wouldn't like the wood top and planned to paint it, but not even fitting the jar and the rough spots has me concerned. I don't think I will reorder. The only part I like is the phrase gratitude, too bad I can't be grateful for this product. I am so disappointed that I can't use it this weekend as I have family coming in town and wanted everyone to fill out some cards. Even if I reorder it, it won't arrive in time and could have the same problem.

I found this on Oprah's Favorite Things and got it today. It absolutely exceeded my expectations. It was packed with bubble wrap for safe shipping. To start with the box is beautiful. It actually reminded me of opening a new iPhone. I am debating not even wrapping the box as a Christmas gift because of how beautiful it is. The glass is thick and the font/text is exactly what the picture looks like. The jar is much larger than I pictured it. Its a statement piece for sure. The lid fits perfectly and looks exactly as pictured. The Gratitude cards are made with a nice thick card stock. I can't wait to give this as a gift this weekend. I am so happy with the product I ordered another one directly from the website. AMAZING!

I thought the jar and cards were beautiful but unfortunately it arrived broken. Amazon gave me full credit so I’m not complaining.I had to run to Walmart to find a similar but not as nice of jar, and pee and stick letters and create a quick letters.The cards a very nice and I was relieved I did not have to replace them.

This is such a wonderful gift. My son gave me this for Christmas and I really Love this item. We need this in every home because we live in a world of so much DARKNESS. This is good for families to come together and everyone put down the electronics. Parent's spend time with your children, Couples spend time with each other. Turn off the electronics. I have ordered 4 of these as gifts and each person loved them. In order to purchase more than 1, you will have to make separate purchases back to back. Let's get back to FAMILY. ENJOY!!!

First off let me say the customer service at this company is top notch! There was an issue with my order and I️ emailed them and within a few minutes I️ received a response. They took care of it immediately. My jar arrived yesterday and it is as beautiful as it was advertised on the O list. I️ love it! The jar itself it beautiful. Its actually a little larger than I anticipated, but it has to accommodate all those gratitude cards!The cards are lovely, I do hope I can find refills for next year.I think this would make an excellent gift for a loved one, or for yourself!Even if you do not buy this jar, I do hope you consider the practice of writing your gratitudes each day.

Not only is this a beautiful ideal, but the jar is visually gorgeous.I recently ordered (3), and had some challenges with the shipping - however the customer service from the founder was AMAZING!!I don't remember the last time I've come across such genuine, responsible and truly kind customer service. I highly recommend this product, and plan on purchasing several more as Christmas gifts.Loving this Gratitude Glass Jar :)

I think the jar is to big and over priced
