Varad VS350BL Led Scanner Evo Blue

This product looks awesome when activated. Very bright blue LED can be visually seen from the outside of the vehicle. I would recommend this product to anyone that wants to replace the old red dull LED. Very easy to hook up to the existing alarm. You must hook the hot wire to the battery direct or you will not have a bright LED. The other is black wire which is the ground and the orange wire goes to the trigger output wire of the alarm when armed. Would recommend this LED for those who want a awesome look inside the vehicle at night or day.

Works okay. I found the lights to be *very* bright and obnoxious. You know how you get those USB wall chargers for your cell phone and they have that blue light that lights up your whole room at night? It's like that but there's ~10 LEDs and they're bigger and brighter. I wanted something visible but I don't want something that specifically *attracts* attention to my car. I also don't need a blue flashlight on my dash when my car is off.There's 10 different settings but they're all equally obnoxious except for the last one which was a single LED that pulses slowly; which is the one I ended up using.Note: You can't change the settings while the light is on. You have to turn ON the car, which turns OFF the light. Once the light is off, push the button and it will pulse once showing you the pattern. Toggle through them to the setting you want and then turn the car back off. The installation guys threw away the instructions and setting it is somewhat counter intuitive so I thought I'd post it here.

This is a great buy. If you dont have an alarm system, simply install red wire to constant power, ground the black wire and the orange wire to the same ground location. But heres the one thing you have to do. Add a two post toggle switch between the orange wire and the ground location . now you can toggle switch it on or off . job done .looks really cool

Stopped working in 3 weeks

I ordered this LED Scanner light and it was very easy to install and the light brightness very nice and cool. It makes my truck an unique look. I will recommend this to anyone.

Received quickly and in good order. Didnt expect it to be so bright but its ok. Great purchase..
