Ended up returning
This door stop is folded in half in a box when it arrives. From the functionality of the product, this is a huge issue. If the company would consider different packaging, I think that it would be a decent product. The whole reason we needed a door sweep was because we needed a tight seal, and when it comes folded that seal is not possible.

it really works
i bought this cause of cold and bug problems in my building a lot if people dont clean so the bugs comes out if their unit into other ppl units so i bought this strip and it works great no cold air comes in and no bugs comes in i recommend

Got the job done
Easy to install a bit hard to cut for fitment, would have been 5 stars but naturally they have to bend it for shipping and it will be deformed at the bend. Had to stretch it for a couple days to try to minimize the kink but still not perfect, end of the good item great price point

Doesn't Work
Hubby said we bought the right size, but it wouldn't fit. Perhaps we should have heated it up a lot more than we did, but the door wouldn't open and close without pushing this "draft stopper" aside. I returned it.

Would not fit door properly. Made of a hard plastic. Would not reshape from tight packaging.

Irritating
This product irritates me. First, it came folded in half and never really regained a straight form. I tried it anyways and now it’s bulging on the door in those spots. I used this on a standard metal front door.Second, and maybe user error, it’s too wide! So it snags up on the bottom of my door and flooring. This does create a nice seal but now I have to forcefully close my door.It is thick and gives off an industrial type quality.It has been on my door about 2 months now and amazingly hasn’t come off yet.I recommend this more for an industrial door or a business door. Not a personal house door. I’m rating it low because of that bend and it never really functioning properly. That and the instructions were not clear if I should trim the bottom or not.

Waste of time
product came FOLDED in box---it was WAY too big to look right, also..product was VERY cheap! will go to Home Depot to inspect products!
