Mr. Pen- Professional Compass for Geometry, Extra Lead

I am using this compass as a measuring tool for measuring the length of acrylic/gel sculpted nails; width of clients nails that need tapering. So, definitely a versatile product use. Using a tape measure was cumbersome, and since I do not need an actual measurement number, just a constant pt A to pt B, this is a perfect tool! Such pretty color (rose gold)! Metal feels sturdy, but not heavy! Twelve sharp lead replacements, two metal point replacements with extra screws and washers. A cute mustache sticker! And a sweet 'thank you' from Kaelyn. 🩷 If you sculpt nails, definitely buy this for consistent lengths.

Works pretty well, and seems good for the price, but does not work near it's maximum advertised size. 3.5" - 3.75" inch radius is a more accurate maximum, above that it tends to fall apart

This is not a professional quality tool and is limited on the min/max width. It's an economical tool that does what it's supposed to do. It doesn't lock, strictly speaking, but the adjustment wheel is firm enough. It comes with 10-15 replacement leads. Comically, two of the three little vials containing lead were empty and their contents were rolling around in the little bag. One of them still had the cap on it, so I have to think the person packing it was all out of effs to give that day and just dumped the required number of parts in the bag instead of trying to fix it. Two steel tip replacements, two little tightening wheel replacements and strangely no little screw replacements. A mustache sticker and a hand-written thank you note. It's stable enough for what I need to use it for. Doesn't have as much flex as some folks have reported. But if you're looking for a tool with tight tolerances and high production value for architecture or engineering use, go spend $100 - 200+ on a different product.

The compass fell apart at 4 inches wide and I was unable to reassemble and remain together. Also, the pencil insert screw and nut as well as the metal stylus fell out multiple times. I spent a long time trying to male this item work but gave up in frustration.

I am always impressed with merchandise from Mr. Pen. As usual, this compass, fits my need perfectly. The addition of the extra pencil leads and the life time lead replacement is a bonus. Its compact size and the ability to make up to an 8 inch circle gives me the flexibility I need. It works well.

La calidad es pésima. Se rompió después de solo dos usos. Intentamos devolverlo, pero el plazo de devolución ya había expirado. ¡A este precio y con esta calidad, no queda más remedio que tirarlo a la basura!

Quality product, just what was needed. Versatile to use as can have lead in both points for marking swirls etc. Great for the design work it was ordered for.
