OlympusRecMic II RM-4010P Push Button Microphone

Does exactly what I need it to do!

I purchased the Olympus RecMic II for my office use. I am using Windows 11 and Dragon NaturallySpeaking 16 Professional. First, the microphone is EXCELLENT; however, the software used (at least with DNS), doesn't work well with Windows 11 in my experience. I tried it on two different computers running Windows 11 Professional and had the same results. The primary issue is turning the software microphone on and off using the "record" button. When you try to program it to begin dictation by hitting the record button, it defaults to putting a "+" symbol in whatever document you are dictating. The physical microphone itself turns off and doesn't record. Not sure if they simply need to update the software or what. I also purchased a Philips SpeechMike and it works flawlessly. If you are looking to save a few bucks and don't mind the software issue(s), this will work fine. If you are interested in a seamless experience, I suggest using the Philips SpeechMike.

It’s great so far. Have had it for a month. I use it for radiology reporting with mmodal and it’s so far so good. Also it costs 1/2 the price of the phillips speechmike with no apparent difference from my side. I use speechmike at work and this Olympus for my work from home and it’s all the same.

I would just spend the extra for the other dictation models from other companies. This is not that good at all

Das Mikrofon ist super. Wir haben hier echt schlecht isolierende Fenster. Man hört recht gut alles, was draußen so vor sich geht oder am Fenster so vorbeifährt. Das Mikrofon kann aber Stimme von Nebengeräuschen bestens trennen. Das war der Grund, warum ich es gekauft habe, den erfüllt es zu meiner vollsten Zufriedenheit und ich kann das Gerät gerne empfehlen.

Elegí este modelo para uso profesional principal por sus semejantes especificaciones a la gama SpeechMike de Philips y un precio más ajustado.La disposición de botones y trackball es adecuada (igual que SpeechMike) y resulta bastante ergonómico en mano (algo menos que su competidor); la configuración es intuitiva desde la aplicación, con múltiples opciones, y el rendimiento con varias aplicaciones de dictado (Nuance Dragon 15) con diferentes niveles de ruido ambiente es excelente.

Cet appareil est génial. J'utilise Dragon Naturally Speaking depuis 15 ans, et la qualité de la dictée est fortement dépendante de la qualité du micro. J'en ai essayé un bon nombre et celui-là est incontestablement le meilleur.De surcroît, il est entièrement paramétrable de sorte que votre micro peut devenir un raccourci clavier. Je le trouve tellement bien que j'en ai commandé un 2ème, pour en à avoir un au bureau et un en déplacement.Je le recommande très vivement.

Funciona perfectamente, lo recomiendo 100%, lo compraría otra vez. Estoy encantada con el producto. Nada que envidiarle al de la competencia.
