PropperMen's Abu Utility Cap

Snug as a bug in a rug. (short short hair) At first, I thought I had ordered this cap too small when I put it on my head. However, it seemed to mold it's way on to the point of feeling very comfortable.Nothing worse than a cap that is too big. I think there must be a little stretch factor after about ten minutes, for me anyway. Most comfy cap/hat I have ever worn. Does the job better than all the others so to speak. Nice and lightweight as well. Reasonable price to boot.

It was too big, but can wear it over my balaclava in the winter.

This does fit a little smaller than BDU caps for anyone used to wearing those (yes, BDUs are old, but I'm in CAP so we use them still). The quality is fantastic, way better than what I am able to get on Vanguard. I was able to sew on my insignia fairly easily and I really like that the material is stiff and my cover doesn't flop around or get wrinkly when I set it down or wear it. It maintains its shape and doesn't have any weird dents when worn.

Decent cap. Heavy enough material for me. Not a big fan of the brim though. Seems to have a plastic? insert. Hard to shape and a bit uncomfortable on my forehead.

Hat is great. Fits like it should. It is for my son in Civil Air Patrol. We ordered several to be sure that one of them fit (a total of 7 from two companies to find the right size), but mostly that's my fault and the lousy shipping department of the other company. Needless to say the returns through Amazon went very easily and painlessly.

I replaced the one I lost on TDY!

Very nice it is awesome and has not faded yet.

AS a CAP member, I strongly prefer Propper uniform items. I don't have base access, and need to buy online. Size is true and this cover is as good a quality as other Propper items I have purchased.
