This replacement gas strut was the exact match to the one that no longer works. Just use the screws from the old one, the new one goes right in.

Other than being a bit costly, we like these hinges. We have had Keter containers for our farm animals' hay so open and close it several times a day. The original hinges last a few years. This is the second set be bought to replace original hinges on one of the containers. They work as well as the originals.

Bought to replace struts on my wayfair garbage bins. Initially worked much better but less so as it got cold. Which I understand. But now that it has been like 60-70 degrees for past week they still don't hold the lid open. One star is for ease of installation. But that's the only redeeming quality.

After purchasing one pair from a different seller (Rome Tech) that did not fit at all, went ahead and ordered a pair from Hoomwell. Perfect fit for my Keter deck box Borneo 110 gallon, which is also identical to the hinges on the Keter Westwood 150 gallon box. Just be sure to save the original screws as none are included; which is mentioned in the product description but some people seem to miss that part.

Bought two of these to replace the ones on my deck box. They worked great. They have a soft close function and assisted opening as well. Definitely better than buying a new box!
