Absolutely adore this desk; it's the pride of my office area. You would actually be surprised how hard it was to find a good desk online. My specifications were simple: I wanted a LONG L-shaped desk, with one side longer than the other, I wanted some storage space, and I wanted the shorter side of the 'L' to be on the RIGHT side of the table (due to the nature of the room). This table seemed perfect, but then I realized that in the picture, the 'L' wasn't facing the side I was looking for. I was about to navigate away, but upon further inspection I found out that with this table in specific, it actually GIVES YOU THE OPTION to put the 'L' on whatever side you want! It sounds small, but this made such a difference, and I'm honestly surprised more L-desks don't give you the option. Building it was a bit of a chore, and the directions were pretty confusing at first, but a few hours of building is definitely worth it for a desk this good. It's HEAVY. Which can be good or bad, (I had to get my neighbor to help me lug it up the stairs) but for me this was good because it meant that it was sturdy. It doesn't feel cheap at all, and the finish is actually a very pretty color, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that there actually is a small grain to it; just enough for it to not feel like some sort of wallpaper; like it has a texture to it that isn't too intrusive. At first I had doubts about the drawers because they felt a little cheap (the larger drawer felt like just a big bucket) but as I started to fill it up I realized just how much space it had to offer. The little alcove above the drawers is perfect for storing, say a large binder or a laptop. Again, this desk is VERY heavy, and I'm probably going to have to take it halfway apart once I move, but it's worth it for the sturdiness and versatility that is achieved through the simple fact that you can choose what side the 'L' is on. I expected Cheap Walmart quality, but was pleasantly surprised. I know I probably sound like someone who was hired to write this, but I'm just a guy who is happy that he didn't have to make a battlestation out of a countertop and two ikea shelves.

It looks amazing and it’s very sturdy. It took about 3 hours to put together between two people. Worth every penny

This desk is excellent. it is perfect for what i needed it for. i debated whether to give it 4 or 5 stars because the top of the desk is hollow and it kinda sounds a little cheap when you move things around on it. like an empty hollow sound but this doesn't affect the functionality of the desk for what i need. One other thing that it didn't have was pre cut holes in the desk for cables to run but this is easily modified if you have a drill and a 1-2 inch bore to place the holes where you want. i guess its prob better off cause you can place them where you want. Overall very happy with desk.Also, the instructions could have been a little bit more detailed but overall ok.It took me about 3 hours to put together in total probably. Nice that its flexible to place the cabinet drawer on either side of table, very cool.i love the open slot on the top just under the desk. excellent.I got a quote from California Closets for same config and it was $1300... whew.Very happy i saved the money too.

I was pleasantly surprised by this desk. It was hard for me to find a desk that fit the space I needed but this one fit perfect. I'm always skeptical about missing parts and my husband was not to excited about building this desk, but all the pieces were there upon first inspection and it took us 2 hours to put it together {my husband is very handy so I would say for anyone not used to building anything it will take longer}. For the most part directions were easy to follow. I would say be careful when your dealing with the pieces with the unfinished side. It could be very easy to put them the wrong way. I also have never seen such a well packaged box and every predrilled hole was on point so nothing was crooked especially the draws which I always see desks not be exactly perfectly lined. The only thing I am still a bit confused about is the bottom drawer; it has 2 rods in the front and back which I thought were for hanging file folders. It may be for legal hanging file folders but I wish there was a way to have the rods on the sides of the draws for letter size files. Overall, very pleased with the desk.

It took a little time to build, but all holes, tabs, pegs, etc. fit perfectly without issues. Despite having a joint in the center of the desk it has been very solid. I have two large monitors, a lamp, scanner, and a dock, KVM, and speakers on the desk and still have a ton of space for papers I will eventually get to and various typical desk trinkets.If I remember correctly, I did have to disassemble the bottom drawer to put the hanging file rods in, can't remember if that was missing in the instructions or I just goofed.Would definitely recommend this.

What I like about the desk is that you can setup the drawers to be on the right or left side, just know that you can't undo that once you've made your selection and set it up.But, the desktop is cheap and it scratches VERY easily. I have hardly even touched the desk yet and there are large scratches (the wood is visible) and a chip (wood is visible). This wont last the test of time, which makes this not worth it. I wish I did not purchase this desk and got something not as cheap. Sad about that actually. With a desktop this cheap, they should at least send it with a touch up pen or something.

My office/spare bedroom is an incredibly small space, I searched long and hard for the perfect desk to fit in next to the bed(that only just barely fits as is), and good golly, this was IT!This desk is incredibly sturdy and easy to work at, although it was absurdly difficult to put together. I had the help of 2 other people and it still took us HOURS to put together. We all had blisters on our hands afterwards, so I would highly recommend using a drill to put this together if you have one. :))))This is a super functional desk though and I’ve loved having it!
