Update: In cooler weather, it is OK, got used to the weight and I am wearing it most of the time now. The pockets are good, and it is very durable and tough. I am upgrading the rating to 5 stars from 4. Too bad they don't make it anymore. Good thing I got a second one as a spare.Update: I exchanged it for a Medium, so fits well, but hot and heavy to wear. And I even bought another one, because it is discontinued. I do like it except for the two issues--heavy and hot to wear (for summer). Otherwise, it is well-made--good quality--and good for concealed carry--no imprinting and gun sits below ribs (at least for me) and is comfortable.This is a handy vest, full of pockets, but it is very heavy, with a low center of gravity even when unloaded. Imagine how heavy it is with two guns. It is not very comfortable to wear--I found myself having the feeling of "I can't wait to take it off, and phew, it is finally off"-- get a constrained feeling.With so many pockets, it is necessarily heavy, I've analyzed it--it seems that the discomfort is less of weight but more of a balance issue. The bottom is heavy and it drags downwards. If one tosses the vest into the air, it would land bottom down. In any event, it was uncomfortable to wear, at least for me. Certainly not for a hot day.That said, it is solidly made, good materials and should last.

I drink beer and im over 30, so I have a slight belly. I ordered the small and it wont come close to zipping up. no hit on the vest, that's mostly my belly's fault, but these do run on the small side.that being said, I wear this vest every day, it has plenty of storage. I have a s&w m&p shield, 2 spare 8 rd mags, a flashlight, a fixed blade carry knife and a pen in it at all times. works great and is holding up well. keep in mind if you also OWB carry like I do and you have aggressive grips it will wear on the vest. I already patched a seam that was wearing thin from some G10 grips.a downside is that the vest tends to hang from the neck rather than the shoulders, that can get uncomfortable, especially if the vest is full.its a great best, I like it, I wear it open all the time.runs small, hangs from the neck.

Carrying my 40 caliber sig (inside pocket) wasn't even noticeable with this vest. It feels good while wearing and has lots of pockets. Woolrich makes great quality clothing. Got it in 2 days from Amazon (as usual).

this vest is a good value for the money, heavy material, the inside pockets are big enough to hold a full frame semi-auto, order one size up if you ware vest over top

I had picked up some cheap "tactical" vest at a shop in some PX cpmplex at an Army post but I don't remember which one (I travel to posts for work). It was flimsy and the zippers broke and stitching came unravelled pretty quickly. Although I haven't had a chance to put this one through its paces, it appears that it will hold up well. High quality zippers and the stitching is solid. Plenty of breathing room when zipped. I bought it to carry my gadgets when I travel by air so that my carry on can be lightened and to have everything I may want on flight right at hand. Also to carry many of the same gadgets into the field at my job sites. The pockets are nicely configured. Even though it looks like some of the pockets are designed to hold AR-15 magazines (which they will), My HTC Thunderbolt phone fits nicely into one. There's plenty of room for my iPod, glasses case, digital cameras and other assorted stuff in the well placed pockets. There's much more so read the description on its own page but so far, I really like mine.

Great fitting vest that does everything I need it to do. Lots of pockets and looks good. I wear this when riding motorcycles on the street to carry all my gear.

Perfect for the range in reducing the amount of gear you need to carry in a bag.

My husband loves this vest for concealed carry and also just to wear around. The neck of the vest is open and doesn't rub against his neck or chin. Pockets are plentiful.
