I really like this item. I used it in my front garden to turn on and off the waterfall feature and the Christmas lights (used with a water proof socket, i hasten to add). The supplied remote fob is very simple with Just an on and off button and i can switch on everything from the comfort of my armchair as the range of the remote is really good (at least 8m from the rear of my house). For the price, this is a good bit of kit and does the job!

Great item and easy to install. Remote controls them so you can turn on lighting before going out. Perfect for in door lamps or porch light. Robust Quality.

Great product, work exceptional well. Anyone know what the current consumption is for each unit on standby?

Not so great. They look good, the remote wall holder is great, but they struggle to control the sockets little more than 10ft away if the socket is behind a chair or similar. Now after using them for 18 months they are slowly dying one by one.. the unit will turn on and then off after 3 seconds. First one, two... now 3 out of 5 won't work. I have tried resetting them and relearning them but to no avail. Just out of warranty. How convenient. I had some mercury ones for more than 10 years which worked fine until I broke the remote. Not recommended.

Brought this pack of 5 remote sockets in October 2024 which originally worked fine. 3 are in frequent use and 2 less frequent. 3 of the 5 have all just failed and at pretty much the same time. 2 off the frequent use and 1 the in frequent. They will no longer even switch from the switch on the side of the socket so obviously the socket has completely failed rather than the remote signal Expected at least a couple of years from them. I am updating this review and elevating it to 4 stars due to the following I contacted Dewenwils about the problem, they asked a couple of questions then came back saying unfortunately the warranty had expired but under the circumstances offered 3 new sockets. I think the raise in stars is quantified if for no other reason good customer service. Thanks you Dewenwils for your help

Perfect product. Purchased for my father's oxygen so he can turn on and off from remote control. Absolutely perfect and the oxygen people are now telling everybody about this. He needs the oxygen on downstairs to swap from upstairs when he uses his stair lift. This is the only way he can do this without carers going in. You don't realise what a difference this product has made to us!

Very useful for round the house , particularly like the all on and all off button
