Simple set up, seems very durable
I had surgery on both knees and revof3ry has been a struggle. I bought this after using an inflatable kiddie pool for a few months during the summer and the well water was cold enough (low 50s). I find the cold water does help so much. I intend on just stepping in (the depth is mid thigh) instead of dipping down into the pool but who knows: once I got used to the water, more of my body went in because it was soothing.I wasn’t sure what kind of frame I was expecting but the simple construction and assembly was a bonus. We have a hose water filter for our hot tub and I’m using that to fill it up, as well as skimmer net to remove any debris from my entry into the icy pits of relief. The cover is simple with a bungee to tighten and I wasn’t convinced it would stay on, and i think if there were some method to secure it to the tub, it may be more effective in bad weather. I will have to check it frequently when we get rain because I feel it will pool in the middle of the cover.I do plan on using epsom salts and hydrogen peroxide to keep the water somewhat clean and drain and replace the water a couple times a month. When I do I will make sure to turn the drain plug away from my porch, foundation. and septic tank. I will update this review if any flaws are noted but I have high hopes!

Burst at the seams, before I even got to try
DO NOT BUY THIS - IT'S CHEAP CRAP.I'm very disappointed because I'm outside the window where I can return it.So here's my story... I bought this back in February and I finally got around to putting it together this week (June). It was relatively easy to assemble, even though I ended up referencing some videos just to make sure I had all of the parts correctly placed (no instructions were included). Then I filled it with water (not all the way to the top, keeping in mind water displacement when we get in), and then it sat for two days with no activity. At one point during the two days, I had to tighten the valve because it had a slow drip. That was a little bit of a red flag. While sitting on the porch today thinking about getting in, I hear a weird ripping sound. I look over and see it's bursting at the seams! NOOOOO - I haven't even had a chance to give it a try! So, when I go to connect a hose to the release valve - THE VALAVE DOESN'T FIT A HOSE! I wasn't going to open the valve and let all that water pour all over the deck, so I had to use a bucket to get the water out. I really wanted this to work, but you get what you pay for. I'll be looking for an ice bath that is much better quality.

Cold Pod w/ Redneck Upgrade
This pod is fantastic. No, it’s not some high end cold plunge, but for what it is, it works well. Setting up takes only a couple minutes and comes with everything you need. It keeps water cold, but adding ice or re-usable ice packs will take it to the [cold] next level.I set up in my basement with some mats to prevent water damage from continued use. Pro-tip: don’t be like me and fill rather full the first time because your body displaces more than what you think…… fill ~2/3.I’m 6’0”, ~185lbs (it’s the off season…) and I fit no problem to my shoulders either sitting or kneeling in it.Redneck Upgrade: the drain hose that is supplied is “ok” and would suffice if it’s an outdoor setup. Since mine isn’t, I added a 1/2” barb to 3/4” threaded adapter to add a female quick-connect for garden hose and used a pipe clamp to secure it since I have to drain into shower 20’ away.

Perfect Size Ice Tub
This is an excellent size and weight for being portable and moveable as an Ice Bath Recovery tub. I love the portability, it does help with draining the tub afterwards, the ease of moving the empty ice bath to an area to dump is extremely nice. I do love the fact that it is portable, as I do intend on bringing this with me for after my half marathon in a different city. I have used Ice Plunges/Cold Baths before, but it is really nice having a portable and really easily accessible tub for myself. I would only recommend this tub for those who do not usually have enough space for such items or for those who need to recover while traveling in other cities.

Poor fabrication; good as a novelty only
I purchased this Susbie brand ice bath for my husband in April, 2024. It arrived and it's called an ICEDOO. I didn't think it was a big deal, but I can't find their websites which is suspect. The tub was decently easy to set up. As with any blow up ice bath, you must provide your own ice, so each time you want to use it you need to purchase $40-$70 worth of ice or maybe you are lucky and create industrial amounts of ice at home. We have been using it once or twice per week, but this past week, my husband got into the bath and the tub split down the seam, so the tub is completely useless. We had a 30 day guarantee, so we are not allowed to return the tub since it is now June. Anyway, do not buy this tub if you actually intend to ice bathe on the regular. It is fine if you are using it as a novelty or as a joke, but we are sorely disappointed and can not find the manufacturer online to discuss.

Love this plunge tank
A friend of mine suggested I get this tank, and I have been very pleased with it. Set up was quick, easy to do, and only took about 5 minutes to do. Filling it up with the hose took about 30 minutes. It is easy to get in and out of ( I am 5"3), and easily covers my shoulders if I sit flat on my butt. The cover is not one I would keep on if I was keeping it outdoors as it is a cheap material and would not survive the snow, but since I am using it in my garage, and its main function is to keep out dust and insects it works just fine.I am very pleased and have already recommended it to several friends. Thanks!

Ice bath
My college aged nephew asked for an ice bath for his birthday. He is 6’3” and all legs. I was fearful in finding a size that would fit him. This does great. He had used smaller tubs of friends and prefers this one because he’s not scrunched in it. He says he feels good afterwards, but it took him a while to build up to five minutes of staying in the ice bath. I have RA, and have thought about purchasing one for myself as I read so many good health benefits, especially to reduce inflammation. He’s coming home in the summer and bringing it with him. I have a feeling I may be buying another for myself!
