Better than the original
I have a Rig 1600 which is a few years old. The bite valve began to leak this year so i grabbed this new version. It is so much better than the original one. Overall the bite is more solid and it closes much better. It should fit almost any hydration bladder due to the hose size, but I am certain it fits my old Geigerrig Engine (3 years).I do with it had a cover to keep dirt out like others have noted. The original cover no longer fits over this one because it is a bit larger.

Good bite valve. Wish there was a cover for it.
This bite valve replaced the one that came with one of my hydration packs. It has good flow, just wish that it had a cover to keep dirt and such off of it.

Works great on USWE bladders
I purchased this to replace a damaged bite valve on my USWE airborne hydration bladder. It wasn’t OEM but it fit perfectly and was half the price of the OEM part. Very pleased.
