Crayola is reliable as always. These are great starter scissors. Now that my daughter is 3, she does need something a little more heavy duty since these only cut paper when used just right, but I have loved them for her to learn motor skills and safety with scissors! The red scissors cut a straight line and the other two colors cut designs. They're great for little hands and keeping her entertained!

I didn't read closely and thought it was a 3pk of regular (straight) safety scissors in different colors. It's actually one straight, one wavy, and one zigzag. Which is pretty cool. They sacrifice some cutting ability for the sake of being very safe for small hands, which is totally reasonable. They do cut fine, if you have the motor skills. My 2yo hasn't really been able to cut anything with them yet, but her hands are honestly still too small anyway. She's still learning how to hold them and not to run with them, and these are great for that.

Perfect for my 3 and 5 year olds. They use them for crafts at home under supervision. I tried to cut my hair and my hands, but there was no effect at all. Safe for kids! Perfect size for their little hands. Very colorful and you can use them right or left handed. For the price, get it. Kids need to practice for kindergarten anyway. Fair price.

So they work well for safety but they are so frustrating for kids to use as they don’t cut unless held against the paper at a specific angle which most kids that these scissors are meant for can’t really follow. So parents have to end up helping anyway so you may as well just use regular scissors with supervision since they can’t really get the hang of these at all. When it cuts, it cuts okay but not not clean. It is good value for the money and size is perfect for little hands but they just don’t work. If you’re just wanting to get scissors that can act somewhat like a toy so a younger sibling can feel like they also have scissors then this is a good buy - I wish they worked better.

If you a toddler these are a must have! These truly only cut paper!! My toddler loves these she uses them to practice cutting paper and we’ve used them for Playdoh too! The fact she can’t cut her hair or anything else she shouldn’t makes it much easier to allow her to play independently with these!

These are made of plastic and very safe for toddlers to handle them because the edge is not sharp. They do cut paper - one requires a little bit of force to cut through (thicker) A4 printer paper. They will probably cut thin paper very easily.

The perfect set for a first time toddler learning the hand eye coordination. The only complaint is even as an adult it’s a challenge to cut construction paper. They are all plastic vs metal cutters. It worked well early on when my toddler was first learning how to cut paper, but we did have to upgrade to a metal version of safety scissors to actually cut paper. I don’t regret the purchase because there seems to be zero chance that you can cut your own finger. But overall, note that they don’t cut well and once your confident your toddler /preschool is ready, you will likely need to upgrade
