Nice tool, great value.
This is a nice tool. Seems to be well built and performs well. Handles dust much better than my previous sander. I was pleasantly surprised, especially for the low price.

I will give 5 star if the sand dust collecting box detach and open can be easier
Used it for a small area (5x4 sqft) hardwood floor sanding for repainting.A good, powerful sander, easy to control, well build and works well. However it is difficult o take off the dust box, also difficult to open the cover to empty the box. I hooked a household vacuum hose to its dust port which works very well. No dust escaped. The veritable speed control at lowest position is useless, the motor will not spin at all but humming. I always use max speed, which seemed to have better control

other than that it seems to be good for the price
Sander seems to work well, looks well built, the dust collection system is difficult to open to clean, other than that it seems to be good for the price.

Worth it.
Used it on some Pine wood for my steps. Worked fine and collects some of the dust. Great bang for your buck.

Didn’t last very long.
This sander worked well when I first got it, I used it on about 10-12 small projects over the last year and a half and it no longer works. I’ve had sanders in the past that lasted for a couple decades... not this one.

Good sander for the price, but with a few issues
Overall not a bad orbital sander, especially for the price (I got it when it was the deal of the day a few months back). I wanted to try it out and see how it held up. I used it off and on, on various projects over the course of a few months, never more than 5-10 at a time and it's worked fine. There are a few problems with it: 1) the on off buttons have moved out of place, they still work but are pushed in and over to the side; 2) the power setting is pretty much useless, as any setting less than 5, just doesn't work for sanding. So of you leave it at the max setting your all good. Aside from those two things, not a bad entry level sander. If it developes more problems, I will update.

Loud, hard to control and throws dust everywhere
Tried to save a few bucks. Sent it back and bought the Bosch which is everything this one is not. This one is very loud.Dust collection - it collected dust but the vast majority went everywhere. You might say that's to be expected but the Bosch doesn't throw dust around anywhere near this degree.Speed control does nothing until you get to 3 or 4. It literally just hums at you. In my experience this can overheat motor windings.Anything less than full throttle and this thing jumps and bucks like a bronco which left gouges and dip spots in my drywall. Full speed it's not too bad. I would add the Bosch has a damper pad which makes every speed usuable and controllable. All in all I can't recommend this unit.

Works good just don't like the way it vibrates . Needs more adjusting on manufacturer part
