We have a large Cane Corso (160 lbs.) that always chews on his feet. We often need to use a cone or donut to stop his efforts. We have tried at least 8 different brands. They all have failed as his body size still allowed access to his feet. This brand has worked well, is light weight and comfortable for him, cleans his drool easily, and is long enough that he can’t reach his feet while sitting or lying down. He can reach his feet when he is standing but doesn’t often do this. Even though he is very strong, he can not get this cone off because of the excellent large velcro pad. We are very satisfied.

This e collar works really well! My pug wasn’t bothered by it and cheerfully went about his day with it on. The Velcro fastening was secure and he never figured out how to remove it which is great. Cleaning was easy- just wipe down with a disinfecting wipe when it starts to look kind of gross. One thing to note though- if you have a dog with a short snout (pug, bulldog, Boston terrier, etc ) they won’t be able to use a food or water bowl with this collar on. I had to make sure to take it off and on for regular water visits. We also switched to a smaller inflatable airline pillow type of collar after a few days since taking the standard e collar on and off for food/water was kind of a pain. Not the collar’s fault though... I should have thought of my dog’s smashed short face before buying lol. Most normal dogs will be just fine with this collar and it’s very affordable!

This works for my dog and is keeping her from worrying her wound while it heals. I wish, however, that the material was clear - it’s more a cloudy white - and I wonder if she would have an easier time not bumping into things if it were clear. I also expected it to come with some kind of loops to hook to her collar to help keep it on and it does not. But is it working and holding up so it’s a solid choice.

My husband measured our dogs neck and we bought the next bigger size, thinking that we could go smaller since our dog is still growing. When it arrived, the smallest we could go wasn't small enough and my dog just had to shake his head and it would fly off. That was mostly our fault for not reading. The Velcro was durable and if we got the right size, I am sure that it would have been close to impossible for our dog to get off. It was easy to clean and looked like it would be a lot more comfortable than what we got at the vet's office.

I purchased this Velcro dog cone for my pup after surgery, and it worked really well. The Velcro closure makes it super easy to put on and adjust for a snug but comfortable fit. Unlike the hard plastic cones, this one is much softer, so my dog was more relaxed while wearing it. It stayed in place well, even with some scratching and movement, and it effectively kept him from reaching his wound. The material is also easy to clean, which was a huge plus. My only minor complaint is that the edges could be a bit more padded for extra comfort, but overall, it’s a great product.

I purchased this 3 time as my english bull dog has a persistant paw licking problem. The first 2 time the colar was great and I gave 5 stars. However, the 3rd purchase I recieved a product that was small than the previous and it has stickers all over it that are not easily peeled off. I will need to purchase goop or use light fluid to get the stickets off. I no longer recommend this product especially because of the ridiculous stickers!

Definitely measure your dog to ensure the correct sizing, both neck size and snout length. We measured and the fit of the XL is perfect on my 60 pound pit bull mix. The Velcro is wide and holds strongly and adjusts for the best fit. You do not need a second collar to hold the collar like the kind they sell you at the veterinarian office. It’s very durable and holds up even after it gets banged and rubbed on things. It’s stiff enough plastic to hold its shape while being just flexible enough that she can lay her head down comfortably. Wipes clean easily.

I like this cone. Very easy to put on my dog (thick fur on neck and head) … and it is flexible enough she can go through the doggy door (although the cone is wrecked! Bent in a million directions) but we still use it and it’s the best one I’ve used in my life.
