Schick Hydro 5 Sense Sensitive Skin Razor with Shock Absorb Technology for Men, 1 Handle with 2 Refills

Just did my first shave with the Hydro 5 having been using Dollar Club for sometime and it was very impressive! Not sure I even needed the shave cream! Very comfortable and fast and so smooth. Now to see how many shaves before I need to change blades. I keep stroking my face as I can't believe what a close shave I got with so little effort. Yes Hydro 5 just made a believer out of me. I'm 77 so I've tried a number of different razors both electric and blade over the years and I do believe this is the best shave I've ever gotten. It's not much money to get the handle and a couple of blades to give a test so give them a try, I'm glad I did!

I have tried a few different razors in my life, often just for the heck of it. I don’t have the heaviest beard in the world, and for that reason my blades have usually had staying power. But I have to say that this Schick razor comes with blades that outlast all of the others. I have now used this razor for about six months, and it’s no exaggeration to say that a two-month-old blade has retained most of its initial sharpness. I have already bought a 12-pack of replacement blades, thinking that this is the razor I will use indefinitely. The razor itself does a great job.

Prefer sensitivity blades for my legs/body. Works well and worthwhile purchase to be kind to your skin. As a woman who shaves her legs every day (now age 60), a quality shaving device and razors are important to my daily quality of life. Good purchase.

Ditching Gillette for their recent turn on men.Looked at dollar shave and the other online ones. Decided to give Shick a tryCompared to my 3 blade Gillette, this one is a much closer shave. Also gets the hairs around my nose and mouth corners better. Cartridge is much bigger so takes some getting used to, but I was fine by the third or fourth useI don’t like the fact that each cartridge is a bit more into a landfill than a 3 blade razor, so I might try their 3 blade, but this is a pretty good shave.Have only had it a week so I’ll try to update with longevity feedback after a month.

I enjoy a good wet shave and I like to try a new product from time to time. I was using Dorco Pace 6 Sport blades, and then I tried these on a whim. For $48, I bought a Schick handle and 17 Schick Hydro 5 blades. So, I paid $2.82 per blade which is a good price. When it comes to wet shaving, price means little if the shave is subpar. That is not the case with these Schick blades. I am very pleased with the shave I get with these blades and handle combined with Taylor of Old Bond Street Sandalwood Cream. The shave is smooth and close during my routine with the grain and across the grain shaves. The lubrication from these blades is the best I have encountered. I find that these blades are lasting for 2-3 weeks of daily facial shaves. I have now switched permanently from the Dorco blades to the Schick blades because of the superior experience.

Holy Moly!! What a difference using the right razor makes. No more razor burns, cuts, or bumps. It's perfect!! Glides like a charm. Hands down, the best disposable razor. My skin is very happy!

I thought the that the Schick was good. It has 4 blades like the Fusion. The blades shaved nicely but the design inhibited me from getting into the smaller spots like under my nose and few other areas. I also went back and forth with both razors.A Test.By 5 PM there was less stubble with… the Gillette Fusion.

I have gone through several different razors and I’ve never been 100% satisfied with any of them. Razor blade cartridges are super expensive too. I had been using Gillette and ordered this Schick to test it out. I’ve tried Dollar Shave Club , different Gillette models and Harry’s, but this Schick razor is my current favorite. I have never found an electric razor that works so this manual razor does as good or better than the others and is less expensive than those I’ve tried.

It is amazing, I just moved to schick from Gillette and the shave is so close and smooth. I have never had that with the sensor excel 5 sensitive.

Absolutely the best razor I have ever tried. I’m done used women’s razors because this one truly has changed my life. Removes the hair from the absolute root, my skin stays super soft, and no tiny bits of hair are ever left. My skin is very sensitive and I usually get razor bumps, even on my legs, but this razor has COMPLETELY solved my issue and I will keep on purchasing it. Love it!

Sorry to say that despite some good reviews I found these to be very unsatisfactory and very irritable in shaving a 2 day stubbleWill definitely not be buying again
