Great at enhancing body awareness and for helping to maintain cranky bodies.
Early on in our lives together, my wife (now 65) and I (now 66) saw the wisdom of diligently maintaining our car. For the past couple decades now we’ve been applying that same wisdom to our increasingly cranky flesh and blood bodies. It was in this fine “tradition”, that we purchased this air compression leg massager. Summary — Good stuff: After several weeks of use and testing, I can say we are both very satisfied customers. As I will now describe in greater detail, this is a very relaxing, useful and em-bodying tool we’ve now added to our wellness tool bag. What it Does: It works by inflating air into the massager’s leg sleeves, gripping and releasing the parts of the leg, in the same way a blood pressure sleeve inflates and deflates to grip and then release one’s arm. Massaging both legs simultaneously: Put on both sets of massage sleeves (left and right) and choose your massage “program.” Whatever the kind of massage you choose will be applied to both legs at the same time. Massaging one leg. Put on the massage sleeves for one leg (the sleeves are clearly labeled “left” and “right” and choose your massage program. Choosing a Program: The Control for the massager has essentially two kinds of programs: Choose C (Combined Mode) - to massage multiple parts of your leg or the entire leg Choose S (Separate Mode) - to massage a particular part of the leg — T (Thigh), C (Calf) or F (Foot) Intensity: Whatever mode you choose, the default intensity setting is “2”. You can decrease the setting to 1 or increase it to 4 by pressing the minus (-) and plus (+) intensity button as needed. Turning the Massager On and Off: The On/Off button is found at the top of the controller. Once on and you’ve chosen your program, the massager will remain on until you use the On/Off button to turn it off or after 20 minutes of use at which time, it will power itself off. Pros: Whether you want to use this massager to enhance mindful body scans, to bring oxygen and healing to sore legs or to simply relax, this easy to use tool will get the job done. Cons: The product out of the box, with its multiple sleeves and cables, can appear a little scary. Fear not though, getting properly sleeved up is much simpler than it first appears. It is in fact a breeze as long as you first step into the lower leg sleeve, and then orient the thigh sleeve according to the up and down labels before fastening it. This is a great find for us and at a very fair price!!

Hospital compression vs. Renpho - honest review
I purchased this item back in Dec, 2019 knowing I had 3 medical procedures coming up between Feb and June, 2020. Finally after trying it several times on various occasions - I decided to sit down and write a review, which I rarely do. I found that during and following each medical procedure medical facilities routinely use a calf compression device, so I'm using those experiences as a baseline to compare it to this Renpho compression device. At first I thought the leg compression at the hospital or medical facilities was adequate, but once I tried the Renpho device I found it to be far superior because it does more than just the calves. It actually puts pressure on the feet, legs and thighs for full compression support to remove fluids from the feet on up. Since I had never quite had that kind of simultaneous pressure all at once at first I was a bit apprehensive and thought it was going to get too tight and hurt, but I relaxed and let the machine do its thing and I found that after trying it on the low setting and experiencing how I felt using the machine, the added pressure felt a bit discomforting but in a good way. It was like a good pain sort of. I tried it a second time, now knowing what to expect and the pressure was more welcomed, the discomfort lessened and felt better. Each time I did it, I felt better and better I also tried the device on the medium and high settings and found it had a massaging, soothing effect even though there was also pressure - it was a good feeling. I now prefer just to use it on the high setting to get maximum benefit. The edema in my legs has went down so the machine is doing its job. The device is super easy to use - the legs, feet and control are all connected. Just make sure you don't have any wool blankets on the bed since they will snag and stick to the velcro on the leg units. It does help to either look at the directions or realize that the thigh pieces only fit ONE way because they are contoured to fit on your leg a certain way, so if you get it wrong, just turn it upside down and try again. The only downside of buying this item I think is the storage - its kind of big and bulky and you kind of have to find a bigger box to put it in after use or fiddle with trying to squeeze it back into the original box. Over all I would buy it again, give it a 5 star and recommend it to anyone. It seemed far superior as a compression device to the standard calf compression used in medical facilities. I can only say you would have to experience it for yourself to see the difference.

Decent home massage
This massager is very good for the value paid for ! Using air compression, it massages my leg well enough not want to get a massage every week. The massager is quiet which I really appreciate. It automatically turns off after 20-30 min and it’s compact and light enough to take on vacation. The only complaint is that this device is not really one size fits all. People with thin legs would need to really tighten the Velcro and do max power in order to get a decent massage, but there’s only so much tightening you can do.

Helps with leg pain
This leg massager seems intimidating but it’s actually really easy to use! Some reviews complain about the length and I can see why since it’s made for shorter to medium height people. I am a 34 year old, 5’3, female of 128 pounds so this leg massager fits me really well. I’ve been dealing with leg pain for the past few weeks and my doctors have no idea what’s going on so I’m waiting to see a specialist next week. My symptoms are similar to Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS) but I don’t have a proper diagnosis. In the meantime, I purchased this leg massager and it is sooo great! It provides temporary relief for a few hours at a time. I sleep with it on and push start in the middle of the night for 15 minutes if my legs start to bother me. It might sound tiresome or annoying to some people, but I wasn’t getting ANY sleep before I got this leg massager so I think this thing works great! It helps a lot with circulation so your legs might feel tingly during the 15 minute massage but that’s normal and it goes away once the 15 minutes are up. TIP #1: Use this with your legs elevated as other reviewers have mentioned as well. It works better this way for leg pain! TIP #2: The default setting is for level 2–but start at level 1 and then work your way up as you get used to it . I started with level 1 but by day five, I was using the level 3 setting. TIP #3: For leg pain, use it for 30-45 minutes at a time. I also don’t wear pants when I do this so it can really compress on my legs. Test it for yourself and see if it works. Some people might say that it gets hot but I don’t think so and I consider myself to have thin skin and to be a “hotbox” type of person because I hate the heat. Some ppl complain about the cords....but for what it does...I don’t care! It’s amazing! The sound is as loud as a fan so it doesn’t bother me. I’ve had this device for 5 days and I love it! I also see an acupuncturist which helps even more with my leg pain. I’m so grateful for this leg massager because I am able to sleep again! Five stars!

My Velcro Fastenings Are Wearing Out Too Quickly
Before anything else: This product has made a very positive difference in my legs. Being wheelchair-bound, fluids accumulate & cause swelling in my legs, ankles & feet. Quite often I get asked if I'm diabetic because of it. Not so much anymore. I use the compression "boots" every day or 2 to force the fluids from my legs & feet, which also is like receiving a nice massage. Although I haven't used them in bed, I imagine you could do so lying down as long as you don't kink or block the air tubes. The pros: * Easy to use right out of the box * Compressor is very good (more than adequate) * Easy to understand its different modes/sequences * Boots are easy to match & put on; made of tough material * Various modes & sequences to target your whole legs, or part(s) of them The cons: * No carrying bag for storage when not in use * The lettering on the compressor is quite small & difficult to read * The BIG one - after about 4 months of regular use, the velcro on the feet began to pop loose shortly after starting a sequence. I tried decreasing the pressure but that didn't help for very long. I was able to use a couple of bands to hold them closed - but shortly afterward the leg & thigh parts began to pop loose too. I don't have bands to keep these parts closed, yet - but the thing is, I shouldn't have to. At a $100 price this product should be able to last more than 5 or 6 months! Otherwise it's a very good product that fulfills it purpose excellently - except for the velcro fastenings. Maybe it's just this pair, but next time I hope to find something more durable even if it costs me a little extra (but not too much). * a caveat for where I said "easy to use" - I can't put them on by myself because of my condition; but my wife & caretaker put them on me & take them off with little apparent effort. It sure beats trying to wear compression socks/stockings or the hit-or-miss of wrapping my legs & feet with "Ace" pressure bandages. The socks/stockings were expensive and difficult to size & use; if not done correctly the bandages often caused gradual excruciating pain(s) shortly after wrapping. No such difficulty or pain/discomfort in using this product.

Didn't expect to work as well as it does
Happily this product turned out to be a winning purchase. My uncle suffers from severe edema in his legs and feet, and at times it gets so bad that compression socks are impossible for him to get on. He was recently put on medication for a newly diagnosed heart condition as well as the DASH diet, but his doc told him he needed to massage his legs from groin to toes at least twice a day to help deal with the water retention and swelling. He's reluctantly doing the diet and meds (he's one of those that won't go to the doctor unless bleeding from his eyeballs and his arms fell off), but the leg massage was something he would do for just a minute then stop. These were purchased to help with the massage recommendation, and luckily he has been diligent about using. They're easy to put on, easy to program and use, have an automatic shutoff, and show almost immediate results. These function almost exactly like the ones they use in hospitals. The air pockets inside the sleeves gently inflate and deflate to help compress an area to improve blood flow. The strength of the compression can go from very gentle on the lowest setting to quite vigorous on the highest setting, but nothing painful. Using on bare legs is best, as using over clothing (especially thick clothing like jeans) can affect how well the sleeves work. The sleeves themselves are generously sized and even when his thighs are really bad with edema, he's been able to wear the sleeves for that area without any trouble. He's pretty diligent about keeping the sleeves clean and making sure everything is properly stored after using. Even my aunt has begun using these when her legs hurt after an unusually active day and she needs a little relief. She only uses the parts for the lower legs and feet, and lets the thigh part lay loose. It's a nice feature that you can use just one of the sleeves, or just one of the three parts (thigh, calf, foot) on their own, or use the portion for the calves on your arms and the portion for feet on your hands. So far it's been close to a month of use (twice a day, after waking up and before going to bed) and his cardiologist is very pleased with the results. The edema has really improved, which has improved his mobility, which has helped his diet and weight loss, which has improved his blood pressure. Truthfully, these seemed like a gimmicky item that would end up being returned because they didn't work as described or were so cheaply made they fell apart after one use. Nope, they really do work. It stinks they don't come with a carry/storage bag, but the whole kit when deflated and rolled up fits into a regular small duffel bag or backpack.

A Life-Changing Purchase!
I purchased the RENPHO Air Compression Leg Massager to help with persistent leg swelling and fatigue, and I am absolutely thrilled with the results! From the very first use, I felt immediate relief in my tired and swollen legs, thanks to its gentle yet powerful air compression that mimics professional massage techniques. The variety of massage modes and intensity levels is fantastic, making it suitable for anyone from athletes recovering from intense workouts to elderly individuals needing gentle circulation improvement. Personally, I love the flexibility of switching between Combine mode, which massages the entire leg seamlessly, and Separate mode, where I can target specific areas like my calves or thighs individually. Set-up was incredibly simple, and the adjustable straps provided a comfortable fit even on days when my legs were especially swollen. The 20-minute timer is perfect for ensuring I don't overuse the massager, although it's so soothing I often find myself wanting another session right away! Additionally, the quality of the product itself exceeded my expectations—durable, lightweight, and clearly designed with user comfort and effectiveness in mind. It has become an essential part of my daily routine, significantly reducing pain and improving my overall comfort. This massager would make a thoughtful gift for anyone struggling with circulation issues or leg discomfort. Truly a must-have for every household! Highly recommended!

Fantastic Muscle Tension Relief— Medical Grade Device
These air compression boots are fantastic. The construction is thoughtful and provides comfort to the wearer, particularly the top cuff which can be adjusted to specifically target the area of your thighs (quads, IT, etc.) that you want to focus on— while also providing the ability to use on your arms. The outside is a tight nylon weave (think sneakers) and the inside is a soft felt-like, cotton blend. For anyone whose ever had surgery and had to wear the “air boots” post-op these are similar quality, but without the chemical-y odor and hard, uncomfortable plastic. I’ll be honest that I was very surprised with how strong the compression was, and started the device on the F-3 setting, only to promptly shut it off (which thankfully it did immediately, and released pressure at once) and start again at F-1. The sequence starts at your feet and works it’s way up, cuff by cuff. The only change I would make to this is to have the device allow you to program a rolling massage that alternates between each of the cuffs vs have it sequentially follow the same pattern each time, but honestly for the price, it’s pretty great. I suffer from sciatic pain that I often compensate for with other muscles which leaves my legs very sore at the end of the day, and these provide a nice alternative to kneading my legs at bed time. The instructions are sparse, but common sense will help fill in the gaps. I recommend you ease yourself into it and suggest the following tips: (1) Velcro flap to the outside part of each foot (tag to inner thigh) (2) Velcro at a fitting but slightly loose position so you leave room for the expansion and can adjust as needed (learned this one the hard way by putting on at a form fit) (3) Have controller in hand at initial use in case you need to shut off (although the pressure does increase gradually, it can also go from comfortable to “holy s$&t!” If you have it on too high of a setting to start) (4) Don’t set the controller on your bare skin (e.g. thigh while wearing shorts) because it does get warm/hot with prolonged use (5) Unless you already use these type of devices with some regularity, I suggest only doing 2 x 15 min sessions back to back the first time. If you’re relaxing you might be tempted to reset and keep going, ‘cause “hey, I’m just sitting here reading, might as well”— you will be more sore than expected the next day! (6) These are spot clean only, so I would leave any lotions/creams for after use, so you don’t soil them. Although the material appears resilient and could probably be cleaned with a washcloth and warm water. I’ve had the boots for about a week now and am super happy with my purchase— I wish they came with a travel case/pouch, but they do fold up pretty easily and don’t take up too much room in a carry on (I used a travel shoe bag). I also have a RENPHO blue tooth scale I bought on Prime Day (which is how this item showed up on my recommendations) and know the company has very responsive and accommodating customer service as well. Decided to check these out— I’m two products in now and so far, so great!

Sets you right between workouts. Works as pre-game aid as well.
Needs some work deploying and unfolding before use but you'll get used to it in time. Works well for soreness and aches that accompany the average exercise/sporting activity, and even gets you nice and ready for the activities if you do a pre-massage. How it works is by moving air around to inflate the three compartments on both legs alternately and that is supposed to give you a massage. Some people apparently can't wrap their heads around the concept and have a dismissive tone, if I can give any analogy for you to hold on before buying it's a little like the blood pressure cuff they use when taking your vitals at the clinic. If you find that feeling nice, you'll like this. I've heard the velcro doesn't hold fast after awhile but 3-4 months on and I haven't had this particular problem tbh.

Geleverd met een knik in de luchtkanalen
Dit product is niet goed, er zit een knik in. Dit is slecht voor de doorvoer van de lucht en waarschijnlijk is de kans op scheuren groter hierdoor
