Performance Tool W9100 3lb Magnetic Pick-Up Tool, Extends 25-Inch

This does exactly what it's suppose to do and so much more. I had dropped something down a drain without a stopper and used this to get it out. So it's a multi tool.

This pick-up has a much stronger magnet in it's head than I was expecting. I will have to be careful of picking up something much heavier than it's telescopic body can handle in a too-horizontal position! I think it would be capable of picking up well over the 3 lbs it claims. It feels like a relatively sturdy telescoping rod and extends quite far, to the advertised 25 inches! Damned good little tool to have at hand for getting to those in-between-cabinet areas to retrieve small parts, etc.

Pay attention to the size and weight description. Item was definitely smaller than I realized, but did what I needed it to regardless.

This is awesome. Great magnet stick. I still haven't had a reason to use it yet, but it is well made and fun to play around with. Nice to have in case you ever need one, since I work on cars and stuff occasionally.

I work on motorcycles all the time. I have a variety of magnets to retrieve dropped hardware. This extension magnet has become my favorite go-to. Strong enough to hold on to even heavier items but doesn't grab on to something I don't want it to. Perfect mix (for me) of strong enough but not too strong. Very happy with my purchase.

I saw this advertised for working on mechanical things and dropping parts. I personally purchased it because I tend to drop paper clips on the floor at work and it’s not always easy, trying to pick them up, especially when you’re wearing high heels and a dress. This picks up any object that is metal, quick and easy.

This might not be the fanciest magnet tool, but it does work quite well. Magnet is pretty darn strong and has bailed me out of a few "oops" moment. It also works especially well for preventing "oops" moments. For example, removing bolts. Loosen then completely with socket in tight quarters and then use this to remove them without risk of dropping them. Works great for spark-plugs too. I've even found non-automotive uses for this little thing. I'll probably end up buying some different ones at some point also, but for the time being - this thing has been great.
