Excellent air conditioner for camping tent and BBQ California is very warm and humid in October.
I bought this mobile air conditioner for going camping with my cousin's family at the end of September. I bought this model after comparing several brands carefully because we need to lower the temperature inside the tent during sleeping at night and also need some cool air during barbecue and fishing in the daytime. The high cooling performance and low energy consumption of this air conditioner just meet my needs. Also, compared to others, it has two unique features. One is the LED light, which is convenient for me to read and move in the tent at night. The other is the wireless charging function. I don't need to bring a charging cable. As a fan of Transformers, I really like its mecha design. When I carry this 18-pound air conditioner in my hand, it attracts lots of attention, which makes me feel so cool. Some people even asked me where I bought this product. I just told them the brand name PPQ, only three words. It is easy to remember. They can search it on Amazon. This product has two packages when I got it. The inside package is cool. My cousin also likes it, so I decided to buy him a new one as the Christmas gift. There are 3 accessories and a manual inside the package. I installed it well after browsing the manual once. Very simple! For tent cooling, I would put the main unit outside and send the cold air into the tent through a pipe. I almost caught a cold at night due to the low temperature (20 degrees Celsius). While barbecuing, I put the air conditioner on a table behind me to blow the cool air on my back directly. I did not feel hot a little bit. If in the past, I would be in a swear all over.In short, this is an amazing air conditioner. Now, my cousin and I hope the spring can come early, so we can go camping together again with two air conditioners.

Pros and cons
It's amazing that this product works at a max of 270 watts, according to my eco flow. The issue in running into is the build up of condensation. It pools water within itself to a point that could easily over flows within an 8 hour period. Even with it positioned/ angled correctly the water doesn't only follow the house they supply: it pools inside itself. It's only so powerful, as 270 watts isn't much power. The ratio of noise to power is debatable. It's not entirely loud, but in a van setting it's you will not hear what's outside of the vehicle.I kind of recommend a unit that goes on the roof, and most certainly getting your vehicles ac fixed first.

Seriously, how did you do it? 190 watts is legit!
I have only run this about 5 hours so far but it cools well! As expected it did not cool my entire van in direct sunlight which is not insulated, but it kept me cool blowing on me and in my area i was that sitting! I tested the power draw it was actually 185 watts on normal power and max power was 230 watts! Thats mind blowing for an a/c! I can run this thing for over 8 hours on my anker solix f2000! its super well built too! I love this thing and will be bringing it everywhere!

Works great. How do we get the battery pack?
How do I get the battery pack to make this AC unit truly portable? Can’t find it anywhere.Would be five stars if I can find the battery pack

Hardly and air conditioner
For the price I assumed it would be a lot colder. This thing literally blows a little colder than a regular fan but when in cool mode doesn’t blow as hard as a standard fan. Literally Laying in my own sweat trying to sleep even when the sun isnst out and it’s confined to a small area it effects are minimal 😔

great car air conditioner!!!
I often drive a truck on the highway and sleep in the back of the cab at night. After the previous air conditioner was broke down, I bought this one. The cab of my truck is about 60 square feet, and this is just ok to be put on the passenger seat. It only needs a small space, with low noise in the sleep mode. It has a touch screen, so I can use it without reading the user manual. Also, it has such a great cooling effect that I have to tuck myself in after turning it on for only 2 mins. The only drawback is that I need to fix the hot air outlet on the window with a cardboard. That will be better if the seller can provide a cover that well fits the car window. This air conditioner is a great partner on the highway. I will recommend it to my truck driver friends.

Not cool, but bearable.
Used one time so far. Today was hot, I’m in Florida. I got this to cool down a sailboat cabin. Usually this time of the year I just sit and sweat. Pretty uncomfortable when there is no wind. After about an hour the cabin was bearable mid day. The cabin is 8 feet wide and around 32 feet long. Seems pretty expensive for the cooling you get. However, it does bring the temp down maybe 10deg or so. I can run it off a small battery so energy usage is ok. I will see how it holds up longer term.
