Perfect for late fall/early spring fishing.
I got these waders for a late October fishing trip. I wanted neoprene because the water was going to be cold. Layered in thermals, jeans and hiking socks, these waders kept warm and dry. I do think they may be too warm for summer wading. They are well made and I expect them to last a few seasons. Perfect for what I paid for them. One sizing note, I paid close attention to the sizing on the listing, and was rewarded with good fitting waders. Also, as with all stocking-foot waders, you should get a boot that is a half to full size bigger than your normally wear to make room for the slightly bigger foot and the thickness of the material.

Perfect shoe for working on rip-rap and Tennnessee clay in cold water
Good quality shoe with a tough sole for walking on rip-rap and Tennessee clay. I needed to do some work on my dock pilings that were still in three feet of very cold water after they dropped the lake to winter level. These shoes and Caddis stocking foot wader kept me warm and dry. I was not the least bit cold or uncomfortable. Note that the shoe was a tight fit for a Caddis X-Large wader but I was able to stuff it all together. Also, be cautious on sizing the wader. I'm 6'0' and 195lb and the X-large was too large. I wish I had ordered a smaller size wader which would have worked well with this wading shoe. I would recommend this items to anyone who needed to work or play in cold water.1 year update: I'm still happy with these items. I just finished winterizing the dock plumbing and was congratulating myself on this purchase. Everything worked as advertised by keeping me warm and protecting my feet from the rip-rap. Excellent product...!

Don't let the "too large of feet" comments on other reviews concern you! Just put them on correctly!
I just returned from opening day of trout season at Bennett Spring here in Missouri. I purchased a pair of breathable waders last month but they were backordered, so it was either use my leakers from last year or get a pair of any kind of waders for the least cost. I read the reviews about the feet of these Caddis being way too big, but decided to take a chance as this was my best choice financially. First the size. I am 5-11 with a 32" inseam, 46" chest, size 11-1/2 shoe, and I weigh 220. Large Stout only had 44" chest, so I went with the XL Stout even though the inseam was 34". Are the stocking feet too large, yes. Is that an issue if you put them on correctly, no! Just pull them all the way on until your toes are at the end. The heel is not well defined so with wading boots on, the fit is just fine. My son's new waders and boots came in and he wears a size 13 shoe. My old wading boots were size 12 and his old ones were size 14. With heavy socks and the stocking foot waders, his 14s were easier to put on so I used them instead of my 12s. The neoprene feet on these Caddis are thicker that the neoprene feet on my old breathables from the big "O". So I would suggest to get one size larger boot than what you may be using on breathables. Oh by the way, these EXACT same Caddis Neoprene Stocking Foot Waders are on sale at the Bennett Spring park store, so that has to say something about these Caddis waders. The Velcro suspenders aren't my favorite but work adequately. These waders are comfortable, appear well made with quality materials, and will keep you dry.

Works and looks great as advertised. Good value for the money.
I’m 5’8” 165lb, 10.5-11 shoes size. I ordered the medium and it fit very well, however if I gain anymore weight it will be snug. The shoes size area seem to be over sized but I can live with that. I used a cheap plastic sandals for now to protect the feet . Initially when I received it and try it out, it was hot day and I could not stand it, felt too hot and sweaty. I thought to return it and order the one advertised as breathable, but by next day i decided to keep it and give it a try. In the ocean, it work very well and I did not feel cold at all or hot as at home, it was perfect. It came with something I think they call it guard however I have no clue what to do with it since I can not fastened it to my sandals. With that, I feel comfortable to recommend it to other.

Sizing issue
I am 5'7'', 170 lbs, size 9.5 shoes. Purchased Medium and it did not fit me.Foot are fit well, little tight around the body, and the straps were extended to their max just to be able to connect via the velcro. Going to try the Large size and see how it fits.

Not gonna fit in boots.
Ok, I bought a set, the sizing was ok except the feet. I'm 6'2" and 220 so I bought the extra large tall. Everything fit good but come on. These are supposed to go inside a pair of boots? Are you kidding me? I wear a size 11 to 12 boot depending on the maker. The chart claims for sixe 10-13. Take a look at my pic. That bump on the foot portion IS MY BIG TOE!! (30-06 ammo for help with size comparisson, yes...thats a full box of 20 rounds) I'd have given these a solid 4 if it weren't for the foot portion. One other note to mention...the chest flap has the Velcro hook side against your chest and the straps are too small to cover it all. 15 minutes with them on and it damaged my shirt. Not going to lie, besides those two monumental issues, I did consider keeping them, cutting the feet off and glueing the hell out of them to my favorite rubber boots. Material seems durable enough, I didn't see any bad seams. I just don't get how you can do so good on so many things with this, then put footies on these so big Ronald McDonald could stretch them OVER his shoes. Very disappointed, I was looking forward to these in Alaska next week, but that's not going to happen, back to the belt attached frogg togs I guess....

Great product for the price
Arrived on time, no leaks, fits great and has been keeping me warm in cold Temps. The gravel guards are a bit loose, but I have another set anyways that fits. Great buy, let's see how long they last.

Buena pinta
A falta de probarle, por su precio está bastante bien, lo único que hecho en falta es un cinturón que no trae y que es imprescindible en un vadeador.

Fair quality but some issues
Acceptable quality. We’re a little short in the leg even for longer fit and tight even for a slimmish man. Hand warmer pockets very tight and top connections needed reinforcement.

Caddis Men's Green Neoprene Stocking Foot Wader XL Stout- Initial impression
In a hunt for some stocking foot neoprene waders, I wanted to get a pair to replace my Snowbee ones which lasted me some 4 plus years. This time around I wanted to get some with shoulder straps that are all neoprene from front to back without thin straps, unlike the Snowbee ones that constantly slipped off. After some searching I found these waders by Caddis which was the cheapest pair out there. These arrived within the specified time and was in the original manufactured box. The size I got according to the chart was XL stout. To note I'm 5.11ft muscular build of 180lb. My feet size is 10.5 so these are said to cover my size up to size 13 which is quite a drastic jump. I put the waders on and found them to fit perfectly, especially the inseam giving me about 2" crouch room. I could bend in them without any issues. The stocking foot was as expected, rather large, so large in fact that I wondered how I'm going to fit them into my boots. Now for my last pair of boots which I still have, the Snowbee Rockhoppers, these are a size 12. I also had a size 11 pair but these were too tight with both waders. I did manage to get the stockings into the size 12 boot but anything smaller was impossible. The straps are a welcome design as they won't slip off the shoulders. The straps velcro to the waders from the inside but for some reason they put the hooked side velcro on the wader not on the strap so anything such as a jumper worn will get hooked also, which over time will damage your top.I do beach fishing so I went off to try them the next day. I found the stockings molded well into my boot, and although they felt lumpy around the ankles initially this wasn't the case once I had worn them a short time. As these are not thermal-lined I didn't sweat, yet they were warm enough which is welcome because pumping worms in my last pair were just too hot, even in winter. I do miss the front pocket, this is one thing that I felt was missing as you need somewhere to put your car keys, and a wader pocket keeps then dry and warm so as to not drain the car key fob battery in wintertime. So far from my initial impression these waders are well made, they fit well and are easy to get on and off. No leaks as you would expect, and they dry very fast. I will come back with a further review after 1 year from this review to give my findings. In the meantime, these are a great value, and if they were to add a pocket, give more foot size options, and reverse the velcro sides they would be perfect.
