There simply is no better gel pens than these. I am a gelly junkie and I own every kind of gel pens there is and I just always come back to these. They come in a variety of colors, sizes, textures, and even have sweet paint like pens (not included) I use these to color and to journal and to doodle. They do dry very quickly, the rarely ever skip, and they rarely smear, they are so exciting to use, and the function exactly as expected and advertised. The only issue is the price. Of course they are worth every penny but still. Please lower the price! It’s ridiculously expensive for just pens. Even if they are the bestest pens to ever exist.

Love this set! I saved up for this splurge and glad I did. Great quality and so much fun. I've made vibrant cards and mixed media projects using these gel pens. The white 08 pens are of good quality and can be layered over other pens and even colored pencils to add highlights.

Gelly rolls always get 5 stars from me. Ready to use with perfect flow straight from the box. I got these to replace the artist kit that I bought a few years ago that are running low. I was pleasantly surprised to find that in place of multiple nib sizes of fluorescent moonlight colors, they’ve added pastel & earth tone moonlights to this set. Couple of things to note after inspection & testing.- my box came cracked, which was not a huge disappointment as I won’t be storing them in it permanently. But if you plan to keep the box as storage, check for any damage.- there are a couple of colors mislabeled on your swatch sheet. Being a gelly roll user of years I knew they weren’t missing, just mislabeled. Here are the mistakes : pastel yellow is marked on your sheet as 402P, but on the pen you will find it as 403P. Pastel orange is labeled as 407P on the sheet but is 405P on the barrel. They’re not missing just mislabeled.As long as you note these slight issues you should be set. I’ve included photos of the broken box and labeling errors. I don’t find it to warrant the reduction of a star just because I’m such a fan of the pens themselves, but something the manufacturers should be aware of. This is an incredibly great deal for an amazing set of pens. When bought individually you’d be spending over $150. So if you’ve gotten this set in the past know that they’ve added a vast array of new moonlight colors and it’s definitely a set of value!

I have bought this large box several times! I kept one at home, I cannibalized one for little add-ons to office gifts for that extra touch, and I split one between the RV, the SUV, and my In-laws house. I journal ALOT! And I like to doodle too.The box is a suberb selection of not only color but texture! There is one pen style that puffs up after you write, it is so dang cool to watch! Glaze is thick and glassy after it dries. There's a pen type for everyone: metallic, neon, glitter, etc.They have even considered the fact that some of us are fine point writers, bold writers, or somewhere in-between (that's me).They have not added it to their box collection yet but they also have retractable pens now! THANK YOU, SAKURA! I LOVE YOU!I just got their INVISIBLE INK (UV LIGHT INCLUDED) pen set and I am looking forward to trying it out.I hope that one day they will make an erasable gel ink pen! Then they will have met all my wants and desires!

I love Sakura products, which is why I ordered this Gelly Roll set. They're very smooth rolling, rich colors, and without skipping or leaving blobs anywhere. The only reason I'm not giving this set five stars is because, nowhere on the pens themselves does there appear a number or name for the colors. It makes it impossible to be certain you're filling in the color chart (which has the color name and number) with the right color- especially the greys, which require a lot of guessing since there are several similar hues.

The Gelly Roll gel pens by Sakura are the best gel pens I’ve ever used. They write very smooth and the ink flow is great! They’re not patchy or splotchy, and they don’t skip either. They can be used for coloring, writing, and journaling. The colors are so pretty and so fun! Especially the glitter ones! They started out with only 11 colors, but now they have over 70 awesome colors to pick from! However, they do take around 60-90 seconds to dry which is not ideal for lefties. Still, these are great pens and I highly recommend them!

Loved these gel pens 25 years ago and I am happy to have added them to my collection of pens again! Every pen worked right away. So many beautiful colors and a great variety of colors!
